*CRUSHING HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

I've been SO looking forward to this volume and it did not disappoint! We smoothly transition from the end of Season 1's content to the start of the Chainsaw Man movie! And it's so much fun to see what Mappa added in animation-wise, and comparing the adaptation to the source -- let's talk about it!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

The chainsaw man manga is spilt into two parts, with pt 1 ending on chapter 97. And after finishing pt 1 fujimoto took about a year and a half break before he started pt2, which is chapters 98-232. and although it is technically a continuation, it’s really more like a new story because pt1 had a pretty conclusive ending. It’s not like chapter 97 was a cliffhanger leading into pt2, the manga could have ended there and it would have been a good ending. But I’m happy it didn’t because I really liked pt 2. and as of right now it seems that is the official end of the series. But who knows maybe in the future there’s a possibility for a pt3.

As a manga reader my one complaint about the movie is that they cut out the part in the pool where reze fake drowns then peeks her eyes out from the water. Other than that I thought it was a great adaptation

That part was really cute in the manga! But thank you for the comment; I did love the movie adaptation as a whole and it's great to see the manga as well!
