Enjoyed this episode a lot! Loved the conversation after since I do7know what the heck you guys were talking about, it whet my appetite. I am a plant parent of three carnivores plants. They are not Venus fly traps though. I have a few sun dews and some pinguiculas. I just love seeing plants that eat in media. Can’t wait for part two!

Is this the first real two parter? I think so! We did have the Arlong / Nami story over episodes 7 and 8 last season, but I think it still felt more like two complete episodes, where this episode just leaves you wanting the rest like it's all one continuation! There's definitely no way around spoilers in the discussion, no spoiler corner here! I do enjoy watching the live action with knowledge of what takes place beforehand, which helps me to appreciate seeing what's changed. So, learning more spoilers isn't too big a deal and ultimately there's no way I'd miss your discussion! Using the live action seasons to keep me motivated in moving forward in the main anime seems to work nicely too! I think at this point with Smoker out of the story's focus, my favorite new character was Vivi, she's just so cheerful and sweet! And the Karoo tease this episode! Only One Piece could turn an oversized rubber duck into a lovable side character with attitude!

Thank you so much for the comment -- I can ONLY imagine what our out-of-context conversations about 20 years worth of One Piece sound like! But yeah, Carnivorous plants are so much fun to see in media -- I would love to have some, but I have such a bad green thumb (barely keeping alive the plants I have) that I'd be afraid I'd accidentally neglect one and then I'd have to deal with a dead carnivorous plant and that would hurt my soul, hahaha!! I love episode 5, so very excited!!

Our first "real" two-parter! I live! Agreed on the Arlong/Nami storyline! Yeah, if it's One Piece, my brother and I are going to talk spoilers (he's not nearly as cautious as I am), so I'm glad folks are on board with that aspect of the series! The Karoo TEASE -- seriously! I just love him. But yes, with Smoker out, Vivi has quickly rose in the ranks; she's so likable in this! Thank you so much for the comment! :D I can't wait for Episode 5!
