*MARCHING HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

I had SO MUCH FUN with these episodes -- probably a good thing, because things are seeming a bit dire, aren't they? The Quincies are invading the Soul Society and things are already looking bad for the Shinigami -- good thing Ichigo can come and save the day, right? RIGHT?!

Thank you Romania for another great and super fun reaction , the pacing of the episodes is amazing and we didn’t wait a bit for things to go super south super fast .. so i completely join you on the Isshin and ryuken simping train.. they are so fascinating and attractive.. and yes your favorite arc of them is what made them skyrocket in my favs list.. i m also a sucker for ISSHIN SHIBA during That arc.. but we ll get to it when it’s time Thank you for giving Akon the love he deserved, he is a goat.. the fact that he has to deal with mayuri and his crazy butt on a basis day made me respect him even more.. and yeah the anime really upgraded him well, i love that Mayuri talking shit to yamamoto as you ve seen was an anime only contrnt and it was glorious : i love Yama but he needed to hear that to snap out of it and have a reality check.. kuddos to Mayuri for having the balls to be the one to do it and not fearing turning into a barbecue The Quincies have some wonderful designs , Bazz-B ❤️‍🔥 Haschwalt (he is so hot as you said , reminds me of Schnizel from Code Geass) and As Nodt with his Punk metal inspired look and 2 others that i ll get to later. The Bleach inspiration in JJK is wonderful like kira having a circle like chunck of his upper half missing is very reminiscing of Toji fate … and of course the Bankai domain expansion one remains the most noticeable one.. i m going to have fun with these little inspirations Biyakuya, the man you are.. he is such a great captain and character… Love all the Uryu added scenes in these episodes, they were needed , and i m so glad we got them.. Little bit of trivia : Rangiku true hair color from the manga was the one that is used here and not the one from the OG series which wasn’t very accurate. Onto next session and boy am I excited

I’m super impressed by the pacing of this season so far! And ahhh yessss, Isshin and the Shiba Clan, oh there’s much to say, but I’ll save it for then!! Akon is just a GOAT! And yes, him dealing with Mayuri was enough for respect, but he really has come into his own in this season of the anime so far! I am ALL HERE for Mayuri talking smack to Yamamoto! And seriously, if anyone was crazy enough to talk to him without fear of becoming BBQ, it would be Mayuri! Bazz-B and HASCHWALT - yes, that’s his name! I can see the Code Geass connection! Their designs are great! – yes, you can see Gege’s references to Kubo in this! It’s fun to see it in hindsight now that I’m into both shows. And the extra stuff with Urya and his father was SO NEEDED – I’m so glad they added these little moments of them and Uryu learning about Ywach! That is so neat about Rangiku’s actual hair color here!! Ahh, I’m excited to get into the next set of episodes! Thank you so much for the comment!

Loved the reaction and discussion! I wonder what the total count is for the number of characters featured or met in this set! Full rainbow. 😆 Yes, thank you! I was so glad to hear all the Jushiro love. 🥰 He and Shunsui are my top darlings (and OTP). 🩷🤍 I absolutely see that Aizen-lookalike as Aizen’s lovechild and I picked Rose as the other one. Visually that makes perfect sense to me. 😂 I loved As Nodt on sight! 🥰 “Wars take place because both sides are just” – oof, that’s a rough one, could this have been a translation issue? Because I agree that the meaning “when both sides believe they are just” is hopefully the more "intended" one here, otherwise it is just profoundly naïve at best. Really loved how beautifully everyone was presented or introduced in this set, felt like a (devastating) showcase. Looking forward to the next set! 🩷🤍

Thank you so much! We definitely have the full spectrum of characters in this final arc, or it’s shaping up to be, right?! Oohhh, yes, Jushiro and Shunsui have been one of my Shipping Darlings since the early days of them in the manga! I will not hear slander towards them! I can’t see Aizen seeing anyone “good enough” for him (and he’s sort of asexually coded for me), so I’m going to imagine them all as clones! XD Of all the Quincies, As Nodt has one of the best designs! Kubo was cooking with him! I agree, I wonder if there was a translation issue - it’s that way in the manga as well, so hopefully there was a translation problem…or the show calls itself out later on how they were wrong? I guess we’ll see! A Devastating showcase this week indeed! I’m excited to see how the adaptation handles a lot of these battles! Thank you for the comment!
