I 100% agree with Mickey’s fake feminism part. He has women around because they can make him money. And like of course, he might be equally as horrible for men, but thus far we have only seen him with women, so I can’t really make any assumptions on if his objectifying nature is reserved for both genders. But he’s misogynistic regardless, so I guess it doesn’t really even matter. I totally see him as one of those guys who care about money/success and see people as only a means for that said success. And couldn’t care less about what others think of him, if it didn’t benefit his wallet. ugh, so detestable. Yet I know if he were hot, I would fangirl... What's with people called Mickey being so creepy? Just like ...Mickey Mouse… Big Johnny & Lil’ Johnny are so cute *heart emoji* Queen is a really interesting character as well, though one thing I found interesting while watching this reaction that I had never noticed before. But we don't really get any internal monologue from this episode Queen, even tho this is her arc. I'm gonna be on the lookout for that, if that's the case for next week, since that's an interesting decision.

There were multiple occasions where this show did time skips without labeling the year; either it was because there were huge time skips taking place in a short span of the show or it was because there was vague suggesting between the lines, like the hair length or the Tournament year. The X Tournament is happening every 2 years, except for the 21st Tournament in Year 41. Shand actually wears the flower before Shang Chao's death, as seen in Firmman's flashback from EP3 when Firmman's statue was just unveiled in Year 36, and Shang Chao is killed after Yang Cheng is cheered by the crowd behind the unveiled statue. I think that Cyan's inclusion during Queen's speech montage is referring to how Luo listened to Queen's speech in Year 28 and Cyan carried on Luo's wish to become a hero afterwards, but the radio segment is a little long and less memorable for a cut-in, so they just replaced it with a segment from Year 34. Hopefully this helps a little with following the timeline. (Also, it did appear that Crunchyroll has finally fixed Smile's name from Extro, a weird byname derived from "extrovert" that only appeared just in this episode in the Crunchyroll SUB throughout the show's original run, as we did have the Smile Incident showed prior.) I'd say that how Bowa almost breaks free from Queen's domain is because she was X at the time, while Big Johnny distracted both Queen and Bowa, but I'm not discrediting your theory about Big Johnny. As Micky and Liu Zhen decided not to reveal the truth about Luo to Cyan, I feel like the gap between Cyan's hero entry and Cyan's first encounter with Queen would be just an idol training montage on her way to be a top hero, which might be a strict and standardized experience if we're following a traditional idol training pattern, so the show might have neglected the montage segment in favor of finishing the District 70 Incident within the episode limits.

Thank you so much for the comment and the kind words – Hmmm…I mean, I don’t honestly, because of her hard work we’ve seen on screen – a “Nepo” baby to me rides on the laurels of their parents’ success…and her dad is a journalist that actually quit his job, soo…no, I don’t think she really is. Now, do I think that Liu might be riding some of his daughter’s coattails in her success as a hero to stay in favor with Mickey and get back into the company? That is a good question! We shall see! I'm excited to see more of X as well!

Yeah, Mickey really is trying to make himself seem like a ladies man when I’m sure this man is…not interested in them except to make him look pro-women. HAHAHA – if he were hot, you would fangirl – you know, I get it. XD And oooh, the ties to Mickey Mouse? INTERESTING INDEED. *slurps tea* One thing is certain: BIG JOHNNY AND LITTLE JOHNNY HAVE MY HEART! I would do anything to protect them. I really like Queen – And yeah, I don’t know if we get any internal monologue with her yet, I might have to re-watch Episode 12 to check that before moving onto Ep 13 – thank you for the comment!
