Do you remember? UCHIYAMA Kouki voices Omae who sits next to Manaka(left one from us) I was so hyped and this episode did justice! I still like manga version of Miyuki vs Amahisa moment but anime version is also good One thing definitely anime surpasses is the moment of Sawamura silently nodding I like Takami, too and I agree with your analysis where Amahisa is a poetry genius and Takami handles him well And obviously, Itsuki, Miyuki, and Masu would be horrible for Amahisa Harada may do better than them I'm not sure about Inui. Probably he would be 100% or 0% Sawamura's face when he realizes he broke his fastest record is so adorable! And it was great to have Kuramochi featured episode on his birthday! Thank you for a great reaction and a discussion!

That guy with the turned up hair in the opening is Seki lol thats Asou's best friend. The one who hyped him up over his girlfriend 😂 Also, youre correct that "Lets kick it up" from Digimon is only in the English dub of the show unfortunately. One of the main reasons I could not watch the japanese version when I tried. That catch from Mochi is sooooooo good! It honestly didnt even look low enough for him to jump and grab but im so glad he was able to. ANOTHER MEI SIGHTING WITH NO LINES. WHEN WILL WE EVER BE ABLE TO HEAR MEI SPEAK AGAIN?! Im uncomfortable with Sawamura calling Miyuki "dude" lol. Its giving "dont call me dude when we kiss on the mouth" 😂 im sure he didnt actually say dude but it did make me laugh. Im never getting over Amahisas blush when he comes up to bat. He blushes in the manga too so I was excited to see it. Its much more subtle in the anime but still so cute lol. Im genuinely so proud of Sawamura man. For reference, he wasnt even pitching 130 km/h when he started at Seidou. From like 125-128 km/hr all the way to 140 in 1 year is pretty crazy. Not as fast as Furuya or Amahisa or even Mei but im still so proud of him. Hes actually now in the typical speed range of a real life koshien pitcher. They tend to pitch between 135-145. I LOVE how much the second years all trust Sawamura so much to bunt. Bunting off Amahisa WOULD be really tough. The point of a bunt is to kill most of if not all of the speed. Sawamura did a bit of a push bunt to take it away from the plate but its still very impressive that he was able to redirect that speed to be so slow. Sometimes if you bunt a ball that spins that much, it ends up doing weird back spins on the ground and you send it straight to the pitcher way faster than you wanted to. He did very well. You mention all shortstops being reallt intense..... Shirakawa is also a short stop 😬😬😬 I cant even IMAGINE the tension of a battery with Miyuki and Amahisa. Honestly i feel like in daiya specifically, the best batteries are between different years. 1 has to be older than the other for a battery to work properly. Obviously not only that, but youre right that theyd just clash like crazy. Amahisa would get annoyed so fast and would just start ignoring Miyuki. Fist fight breaks out between a battery on the same team 😂 The best thing about Miyukis glasses being completely filled in for his at bat and then when Amahisa comes up to bat right after, is that only when Amahisa realizes who his real opponent is, do Miyukis eyes get revealed. Its like all of a sudden Amahisa really saw him as an enemy so his eyes came out. I think the other person on the field to call him "eijun kun" was Haruichi. Hes called him that since they met so I think he gets a pass lol. Comparing Mei and Amahisa... the differences between a January Capricorn (Mei) and a December Capricorn (Amahisa) 😅😅 ALSO, just so we know going forward, Asou wasnt subbed out for Masashi. Asou hasnt been in this game thus far. Masashi is the left fielder who started. They were just mentioning that Kataoka choosing Masashi over Asou to be in left meant that Kataoka was hoping Masashi would get a good hit and that he had a lot of faith in him. I loved his episode soooo much. This game is being animated so well and im so pleased!

Ooohhh, I did not remember! XD Thank you for letting me know about Omae’s VA! This episode did us a LOT of justice! I loved it! And yes, the manga version of Amahisa vs. Miyuki IS better, but there were reasons I could see it didn’t have the same epicness, as I discussed in the episode. Still a great moment and Sawamura silently nodding was adorable! Takami really won me over this episode! And oh yeah, Amahisa needs just the right catcher and he fits the bill! But ooohhh, Harada would be the closest to working for him! Inui – 100% or 0% is SUCH a good point!! It’d be one way or the other! I love Sawamura breaking his record! Such a sweet moment! Kuramochi was definitely a feature and I loved all the moments with him in this! Thank you so much for the comment and kind words!

Oohhh, SEKI – Thank you – he was so busy hyping Asou, I forgot him! XD I know, “Let’s Kick it Up” and the Digimon English soundtrack is so iconic for early 2000’s nostalgia! Mochi’s catch is SO DANG GOOD! Mei is literally not allowed to speak until Finals! Or the final episode of this cour! ;) The translation of “Dude” is just hilarious; I’m right there with you that it feels out of place, eh? And then the scene with Amahisa and yes, him BLUSHING against Sawamura for the pitch. I just can’t hate Amahisa. Sawamura has grown SO MUCH – and that is a crazy amount of growth in a year! Yes, worth being proud of! Nice!! And how much trust he’s gained for bunting in a year too, especially compared to where he was at the start of the series with their impressions of him! That’s some great info on the point of the bunt, so thank you! AHAHAHA OF COURSE SHIRAKAWA IS A SHORT STOP! XD Miyuki and Amahisa as a battery would be WILD. Oh yeah, same age would be odd with the push and pull dynamic; I’d never considered that. And ooohhhhh, that’s SUCH a good point about the moment he realizes his opponent, that’s when he sees Miyuki’s eyes! Nice!! I think it’s adorable that Haruichi calls him Eijun-kun! :3 AND YES - THE JANUARY VS DECEMBER CAPRICORN! Hahaha I forgot Mei was a Capricorn somehow! And ahhh, Asou hasn’t been in the game so I misunderstood but that makes sense; thanks for clearing that up!
