Little Johnny and Ghostblade is the buddy cop duo we didn't know we needed!

This episode was a riotttt, loving the comedy in this episode :p Professor Luo is shipping the wrong age-gap... He should be shipping Ghostblade with Little Johnny instead, SMH /I'm mostly joking, but I like that their dynamic has potential. That sunshine x gloomy is a classic dynamic. Plus, they can bond over being both parents. But either way, a ship or platonic, I looove the DUO they make. They're just so much fun to follow XD

This was such a great episode. Poor Ghostblade tho give this man a pen lol. I live for Johnny being this Gen Z hyperactive kid and Ghostblade being like I cant handle this. I think so far Lin Ling Esoul Queen and Ghostblade arc have been my favorites. I have three different rankings in my head from favorite arcs separate from favorite character that differs from who would I want to be X. I do love that ever since we've been introduced to Cyan while we have jumped around we are centralising on two group of characters funny enough all overlapping with Little Johnny I love the trio of Johnny Cyan and Queen and I love the trio of Nuonuo Luoli and Da Xiong with Johnny and Ghostblade being chaotic additions. The cure I think is referring to the cure for Affective disorder. I dont think that Ghostblade has completely recovered but through journalling and immersing himself in Nuonuo's life and not just being a bystander and simply observing he has found his own way of bridging the gap that existed between the two of them which has helped him to no longer be isolated in contrast to how he was before and even after meeting his ex wife. I will comment more on my thoughts of Ghostblade upbringing and marriage under episode 15. I think an interesting interpretation is the cure to the instability of trust value being fear because what causes fear is alot more stable than what would lead to trust. Ghostblade is the person that you send a message to blink twice if he needs help lol. He was this close to throwing Johnny out the car. Just to clarify whenever Johnny Queen and Cyan met up I believe it was at Hero tower where according to Haolin the top 250 heroes live. Johnny is the only hero we personally know from FOMO. In terms of the other heroes we dont know who Lin Ling signed with, Esoul and Ghostblade are with MG and Cyan and Queen are with DOS. I think its interesting that you bring up this theory surrounding Sheng Ghostblade and Little Johnny because Ghostblade seems to be the type of person who just sees his assassinations as a job and therefore doesnt really think too much about what happens after but in the scene after he fights Luoli and thinks back to his wife's words he mentions that moment with Sheng saying he understands what was reflected in his eyes and his words which it would make alot of sense if Ghostblade keeps thinking about that moment because he knows Sheng has someone to protect or is a parent like himself. I also was like Professor Luo what are we doing but someone pointed out the observation that he and his wife look like an age gap relationship of over 10 to 15 years so while that doesnt make him being a wingman any better it makes more sense to me that he wouldnt be opposed as long as Ghostblade has good intentions as he said as much in the episode. But still sir boundaries consent these are important. it's funny to me how Johnny gives one advice as a furdad and immediately Luoli is like and this is why he's a better dad than you. I think the cough from Professor Luo was more a cough cough wink wink I've said nice things about you go for it to Ghostblade. Whether Ghostblade becomes a tragic villain or is already one because of a potential connection to Johnny I can tell that Haolin isnt going to make life easy for him. I really want Ghostblade to be ok tho. I love the scene of Nuonuo finding out that it was very clear that this is her dad and he loves her alot.

Btw each hero so far gets a hero song I'll just make a note of where each one played in their arcs maybe if you remember them you can say if you've liked the little snippet we've gotten of each one so far and at the end of the season im sure the mods can set you up with the official music videos for each to react to. I think bilibili has a compiled video of them. It will be fun for you to react to the pvs the music videos the Haolin interviews and do a ranking of the arcs and the characters by the end of the season. I included below the name of each song and where they are in each arc along with some non-spoilery commentary. Lin Ling/Nice - his song played during the fight against his boss it's called Paragon which is a perfect name for a "perfect" hero Esoul - Neon Rain played when we got the reveal that Rock set him up I feel like the rain references the two most significant moments in his life and hero arc defeating OG Soul and Shang Chao being killed Lucky Cyan has so many songs but officially her hero song is Take off which she sang before she escaped the orphanage with Luo Queen's song is Queen of the Stars I love that name very fitting and it plays during her speech Luo li - her song plays when she builds her first iron suit and it's called Candy Mountain a very cute sounding song Ghostblade song has the feel of a 90s love song I just imagine someone on stage with a guitar and mic singing this the song itself is called Because of you and I can imagine if Ghostblade could sing this would be dedicated to his ex-wife and daughter or maybe just his daughter the song played in the Nuonuo reading the diary scene

Don’t worry. I have already talked with the mods and I have a playlist pretty much ready and waiting. There is also some other stuff that is being saved for later too. There is a lot of information and it’s been hard figuring out what to include where, but we’re figuring it out as a team! I’m glad there are other people as passionate about this series as I am 💜

I don't think that how Professor Luo pushes Ghostblade to form a relationship with Nuonuo is a cultural thing. I feel like Ghostblade just hides his personal life well, while Professor Luo thinks that he knows about Ghostblade as it was implied that they're co-workers in a way for a long time. Therefore Professor Luo has his bias towards Ghostblade, as he recognizes how Ghostblade likes to act secretly with no communication skill, without recognizing there's an age gap between the two subjects while trying to please both subjects, so he just asks Ghostblade to confess to Nuonuo with an additional condition of no further stalking afterward. The caller showed on masked man's phone is just "Unknown Caller" though.

Yeahhh, that’s still….nahhh for me, not a fan of a man pushing a man closer to his age to dating a girl that is the same age his his daughter. But that’s just my opinion. Thanks for the comment and the translation - that’s good to know!
