These two men are MARRIED, your honor, and making food for the kiddos together before their field trip *whimsical sigh* -- this was probably one of the easiest meals I've made for the channel before, but also one of the tastiest!

They are married! Olruggio is such a good partner making sure the kids are fed and Qifrey rested! Oh, that was fun! That is a lot of bread! A good egg sandwich is always great for breakfast! I do make something similar all the time. I do make sourdough bread out of my starter named Yeasty McBiggleton. I made a sun-dried tomato and rosemary bread last week…. It’s soooo good! (I’m just bragging 😭) I just toast 1 slice of bread, any type will do. A slice of cheese, what ever I have. Place on just toasted bread. Pan fry an egg or two not scrambled, but you can do scramble if you like. I like runny yolks, so no scramble. Add salt and pepper to cooking eggs for seasoning . When done, place on toast with cheese. All of this will melt cheese. Finish with chili flakes. Delicious! If I have some spam, ham or bacon, I add it on top of cheese with the eggs on top of that. Soooooooo good and it will keep the tummy full till lunch! I call it “we have Egg McMuffin at Home” Can’t wait to see what you are going to whip up next chapter! Really enjoy these chapters! Edit: omg…. Husband found a video on how to make lunchmeat… at home! Well, he can be in charge of that experiment. 🤦‍♀️

They are SO married; seriously, they work so well together and the chemistry…perfect for a cookbook! 😀 You know, it was a LOT of bread; I think having just too pieces would have worked just fine. My mother got into sourdough this summer and is all in on these starters, haha!! Yeasty mcBiggleton! I don’t think she names hers – but oohhhh, sun-dried tomato and rosemary bread sounds heavenly! I definitely do not have the patience for starters and sourdoughs yet! All of that sounds so good on the sandwich! And yes, that’s definitely a meal to fill you up until lunch! That’s so funny “we have it at home!” And yes, I’m very excited for what I get next chapter – and HOME MADE lunchmeat?! Now…that could be interesting! Thank you for the comment!

Hope you’re mom is enjoying her sourdough bread adventures! It’s so fun once you get the hang of it. It does require time to do. It is like keeping a low maintenance pet that lives in the fridge. I also like the tactile feel of a good dough. It’s like putting your hands in a container of dry beans. Satisfying!

Just leaving an update…. We made the homemade lunch meat! It’s supposed to be like spam. I’d say it’s more like a dense meatball or meatloaf… it’s not bad. Now we have 3 loaves of it and most of it is in our freezer…😅 it’s made out of pork shoulder if you are curious. ☺️

Oh yes, my mom is a "mad scientist" when it comes to trying and getting fixated on new things -- she does make a pretty good lemon/blueberry sourdough! But yeah, she's described it as satisfying!! :D :D
