When you started going on about what your rainbow shirt means for this ep,, I was so assuming you were gonna make a joke about Leonard xDD And yes, the subs were a LOT worse on this ep. I'll be sharing a proper translation for the eyecatcher together with the episode translations. But the other ones… I can sense someone else explaining them Azik’s “little one” is SOOO CUTEE, a babyyy. Makes me wonder if that’s “little” to him; how big is his--- *gets dragged to the horny jail* I would not recommend looking up Jotun nor Elvish, at least not in this context. Since while they’re both inspired by things popular in other cultures (Tolkien, DnD, etc) , they’re their own things in lotm-verse. So I wouldn’t put too much weight on whatever you find online about it, since it’s either irrelevant or spooilerssss. But since the other languages Elvish and dragonese are kinda self-explanatory, might as well mention that “Jotun” is Old Norse and translates to “giants” Also, Klein’s comment on “having studied Jotun” is referring to OG-Klein being a history student and therefore having learned some ancient languages. Seven pirate admirals, reference to the One Piece warlords maybe?? XDDD Awww, yeahhhh, finally got Derrick here!!! Our little sun. <3 Excited for ep 11 <3<3<3

All I will say on Derrick, our dear Little Sun, is that you will know his story by the time you are caught up with all that has been released so far. Spirit Creatures, like the "little" skeleton are some of my favorite bits of world building. They all have so much character, even when they can't speak. You will LOVE the spirits that become recurring characters in this series. The "little one" is both an excellent first example and a very polite one. As for my main comment is the world has layers. The confirmation of both how Sealed Artifacts are created and the existence of the Spirit World from a verified spirit guide, (following a visit from a Spirit Messenger, which obviously has sentience enough to know how to keep Klein's connection to Azik a secret from Daly,) and the confirmation that it is accessed via a form of Ritualistic Magic, (like the ones to the gods,) immediately after the episode Old Neil asked the Hidden Sage for a ritual he shouldn't know at his sequence, immediately after the episode Klein prayed to the drop of blood from the Eternal Blazing Sun, implies HOW the Hidden Sage went from an athropormorphized concept to an evil Divine "Alexa Dot" (for lack of a better way to put it,) which lines up with what Alger said about what happened to the Hidden Sage to turn it into an evil god. It's like what happened when LLMs scraped people's social media to better learn how to imitate humans in prompt responses, but didn't grasp the nuance of context. They became extra, "helpful." The line of logic is as follows: According to Alger, Old Neil and the Mid-Cards, the concept of Divine Numerology, ("all things are math, math is all things, therefore math is god,") was prayed to by Mystery Pryers until it turned into a god. The spirit realm exists, so disembodied spirits, like shared concepts, live there. Spirits are summoned/communicated with via Ritual, and so are gods. Beyonders leave behind part of themselves when they pass on that become Sealed Artifacts. What happens when, while praying to the Hidden Sage, a shared concept in the Spirit World, if that concept gives a fully honest answer to a question it should not answer, because it would risk the questioner losing control? The questioner would lose control, potentially dying and giving some of their essence/knowledge to the Hidden Sage. Do that hundreds of times with some of the incidents happening at higher sequences. All that collected knowledge/essence from accidental deaths while connected via ritual merges with the shared concept in the Spirit World the ritual aimed at it, turning it into a him. He became a god in all the ways that matter: quasi-sentience and Beyonder Powers at a high enough sequence (like a Sealed Artifact,) knowledge of rituals and spells equal to it's sequence, (due to moving from being a concept to being a worshipped entity,) etc. without any of the human element that allows for restraint. It's basically a Disembodied Purely Spiritual, Unsealable Grade-0 Sealed Artifact. That's not even the worst part. The base "Pray with Question, get accurate response" ritual tied to him when he was an "it" is still running passively in the background on auto-pilot. That ritual pre-exists both him as a person AND his divinity and is now running at full divine Beyonder power. What other rituals aimed at "it" are running on Auto pilot using his power? Also, what would happen if he ever decided to "help" without being asked or being forced to by pre-existing rituals, like an Alexa that randomly suggests an unneeded product without a prompt? THAT is the question that scares me the most.

I’m glad they give such weight to Old Neil’s death here. With a limited run time it can be hard to decide what to focus on, and I’m glad they recognized how needed this was and didn’t just move on with the plot after having them grieve in the last episode. You have good instincts! It’s usually not a good idea for family members to get too involved in supernatural stuff. Although it can also be dangerous for characters to be too ignorant too, so I guess we’ll see where Benson and Melissa land. Good catch with Miss Charon looking like the witch lady from the previous episode! I didn’t catch that myself Thanks for the video!

Hahaha, I mean, it WOULD fit Leonard with the rainbow! 😛 There was DEFINITELY a difference with the translations this episode, but I’m glad y’all are here to help me out with them! Thank you! I mean, Azik’s kid is now a scary skeleton wraith, so the motif is tracking and AHEM…I did not expect my mind to be in the crypt keeper gutter reading the comment section! XD Ahhh, thank you for noting that with Jotun – I probably almost gave BeHappy a stroke, so yes, I’ll keep away for now! *bows* And ahhhh, from Vinland Saga, I think I remember reading that about the word Jotun, so thank you!! YES, Old Neil deserves to have the attention and the memoriam! I’m glad they focused on this moment, too. It helps add weight to losing “one of their own.” Yeah, there’s pros and cons to Melissa and Benson knowing and not knowing, so I am beyond (no pun intended) to see where they take the series with them!
