*EFFORT PAYING OFF HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

It's the latter half of our two-parter, as Inori goes for the win -- but she's not the only one! I completely fell in love with these girls in the competition and I cannot wait to see more of them! What a fun episode, y'all!

NOTE: I made an error in editing and did not get the subtitles blown up like usual, so apologies if they are hard to read. I'll double-check in the future!

Hi - re-watch to the very, very end. Rioh has a final piece of dialogue when the screen goes black I think you missed (at least he does on my version).

I'm in awe on how this show portrays side characters. We got to see how amazing Emma is and her performance was mesmerising! I was pleasantly surprised by this show on how much emphasis it places on coaching. Knowing your stuff and having technical skills is one thing, teaching it to others is quite another. Not all athletes can make good coaches. To have emotional intelligence and ability to spot troubling signs of behaviour is indeed a very rare skill that separates good coaches from great. As we saw in this episode both Tsukasa and Yudai shown to be great coaches. They not only noticed troubling behaviour that might cause mental and physical damage, but also have the skill to gently guide young pupils on how to fix it. Made me wonder about Jun's teaching methods. Would he notice things like that? Would he go out of his way to help fix it? Or is he all about technical stuff and nothing more? Anyways enough yapping from me, thank you for your reaction and discussion!

Ahhhh, yes, I was afraid of it instantly going to the next episode (which Hulu tends to do, sadly) but I went back and re-watched and caught it. I already have Episode 10 recorded, but I'll make note of that for Episode 11 - thanks!

Yes, the side characters in this show are SO GOOD! And I love how much focus there is on coaching as well; it’s one thing that draws me to this show, as a coach myself. I love how Tsukasa and Yudai are handling things as coaches – I’m very curious about Jun as well, and hope we get more with him as the season goes on! Thank you so much for the comment and kind words!!
