Yesss I agree about the liu xiao theory he definitely killed that first 'unicorn' he found to steal their ability for heartbeat 😭 And also yes we are shipping xiaochen 😭 It's the fact that he said that he's now more convinced that ltc was sent from heaven meaning, back then when lx still didnt know about ltc having an ability he still liked him but now it's MORE because he also learn he has power which is like two things lx liked to have a friend and an ability user mixed into one person..... but yes I still think he also using/manipulating him at the same time 😭

I am glad others are on the XiaoChen train and that he totally killed that man with the heartbeat powers! It's so tragic, because you can see how this couple could face some really "doomed" end game vibes, but you also see what brought them together and ESPECIALLY from Li Tianchen's perspective how he fell for LX, and how LX was fascinated with him from the start -- the vision is clear! Thank you for the comment! :D

FYI, there are two spellings for Sharo Society. One is Sharo from the old final PV and the Ani-mi Asia SUB, and the other one is Saros from the updated final PV and the Bilibili/Crunchyroll SUB. I supposed that the original translation team didn't know that Saros is another reference in the script, and they just englishified the Chinese term into "Sharo," but the team was only informed afterward while the keyword was already out in the old PV, so they can only update the translation of "Saros Society" in their own translations for the updated PV and SUB while Ani-mi Asia is using the older translation of "Sharo Society" for Saros. Searching for Saros and you'd get that the Saros is referred to as a length of time in astronomy. "The periodicity and recurrence of eclipses is governed by the Saros cycle, a period of approximately 6,585.3 days (18 years 11 days 8 hours). It was known to the Chaldeans as a period when lunar eclipses seem to repeat themselves, but the cycle is applicable to solar eclipses as well... Any two eclipses separated by one Saros cycle share very similar geometries. They occur at the same node with the Moon at nearly the same distance from Earth and at the same time of year. Because the Saros period is not equal to a whole number of days, its biggest drawback is that subsequent eclipses are visible from different parts of the globe..." While connecting the astronomical explanation to Link Click's narrative might seem like a stretch, I feel like the Saros Society’s emblem is inspired by the eclipses and the Saros cycle. It's possible that Jae Lee needs to broadcast his ability out loud for the others to hear his words in order to trigger his ability, and it might be the same for A Yuan's ability too, or he just needed to open his eyes to trigger. This episode uses a lot of montage transitions and parallel editing, like how Liu Xiao walked into the library in Bridon from his father's room to the library in Bridon, or the cut from Jae talking about superpowers to Liu Xiao mentioning his first unicorn. I think that the production team just don't want to show the repeats of Xia Fei dodging questions, so it was cut from Vein's laugh to Cheng Xiaoshi and Xia Fei's ruckus. (The librarian who approached Liu Xiao in this episode also appeared in the Bridon Arc, where he offered assistance to Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang.) I believe Cheng Xiaoshi is falling back on questioning those he trusts because Lu Guang keeps hiding things from him. On top of that, Qiao Ling once hid his mother forbidding his trip to Bridon, while Cheng Xiaoshi himself hides something from everyone because of his mother, leaving him either too numb to make judgments or suppressing his urge to question anyone. I suspect that the Time Studio team didn't set Xia Fei up as an enemy, yet they gradually turned Vein into their primary enemy during the gap between the end of the Bridon trip and the end of the Time Studio in the previous timeline. Meanwhile, Xia Fei was caught in the crossfire. This might explain why Lu Guang didn't doubt much about Xia Fei with a potential guilt in his heart, and he's surprised to see Vein in Xia Fei's photo in this timeline, or Lu Guang might only be feeling guilty toward Xia Fei for causing Vein to be killed early in this timeline. Xia Fei is likely using the photo to test if anyone in the Time Studio possessed superpowers, seeing members in the Time Studio as the suspects that 'killed' Vein.

Thank you for the comment and talking about the difference with Saro and Sharo - I appreciate it! That is fascinating! And yeah, I’m not sure what Jae’s game is with saying his ability, but I hope we find out more as we go! The editing is very interesting in this episode as well. I can see that with Cheng Xiaoshi, but again, he’s grown so much in this series – our boy needs to apply that growth from season 1 and 2 to now (but more on that in the intro for Episode 6). I don’t know – Xia Fei is very much in on some things, so I’ll be curious what we get from this. Thank you for the comment!
