Shen Qiao is going to strangle Yan Wushi in his sleep. I don't know if this level of teasing is going to get him the reaction he wants. Yan Wushi is reaping what he sowed. Deserved. I actually think Yan Wushi was a little tiny bit truthful when asking Yun Kunchi how he's loved someone for years without reciprocation/telling them. He's being a jerk about it, but I think he's almost 'seeing himself in the future' in Yun Kunchi, and maybe does want some actual advice about it. He could also just be pouting.

Yan Wushi to Yuwen Song: Tch, who gave you the audacity to flirt with MY WIFE 👿 Yuwen Song: I'm literally 5 years old 😭 Yan Wushi is SO FUNNY. He realizes he loves Shen Qiao, so he's going to make it EVERYONE'S problem. 😂 I loovvveeee seeing him so obvious in his pursuit of Shen Qiao, because damn it, Shen Qiao deserves some chasing after!! It's amazing how in the beginning, Yan Wushi was trying to turn Shen Qiao over to the dark side by showing him that human nature is inherently evil. But now, he's exploiting Shen Qiao's daoist principles to flirt with him. 🤯 He's discarding his own beliefs in favor of Shen Qiao's beliefs to pursue him, because love in itself is not an evil concept. I thought their game of weiqi was quite symbolic. Round 1: Shen Qiao wins by a very small margin, and Yan Wushi admits he lost due to a couple of mistakes. This is directly parallel to their shared past. Yan Wushi tried to make a weakened and disgraced Shen Qiao lose his faith in the goodness of the world and convert to the demonic principle. Ultimately, he failed when Shen Qiao, on the verge of capture and torture, proved his beliefs by destroying his own foundation, thus winning the round. Round 2: Yan Wushi wins by an even smaller margin than the first game, with a difference of one move. Similarly, in volume 3, Shen Qiao believed that Yan Wushi was a cold-hearted person who cared about no one but himself— though in volume 4, Shen Qiao now believes they are friends. This change in perception is facilitated by Yan Wushi hiding him in the hollow statue. Yan Wushi wins this round with a single act— by proving Shen Qiao wrong with subconscious acts of love. Round 3: Yan Wushi says he only won the second game because he made the first move, so he allows Shen Qiao the first move in the third game. With Yan Wushi now realizing and accepting his love for Shen Qiao, I see this as Yan Wushi telling him, "The ball's in your court now." Shen Qiao argues that they should just stop at the two games, with one win each. But, Yan Wushi pushes for another game. Shen Qiao wants their understanding of each other and this current friendship to be the end of it, but Yan Wushi wants more and for Shen Qiao to take another chance to dig deeper into their relationship. The third game of weiqi lasts until dawn and ends in a draw. Dawn? Of mutual romance?! Draw? They both win?! 🫣 OMFGG, when you said that Yan Wushi and Shen Qiao were Timon and Pumbaa, the first thing that came to mind was Pumbaa's line: "Awww, look at him! He's so cute and all alone! Can we keep him?" AND GODDAMN IT, THAT'S LITERALLY SHEN QIAO WITH HIS ORPHANS! 🤣

Someone is in luuuuuuuuurv 🤣🤣 and he is self aware about it now… Yan Wushi was also in denial about his own feelings, until every layer of denial was stripped bare.. and now he recognizes and accepts that this man, his A-Qiao is one of a kind and the only one that could reach his heart His karma is that Shen Qiao is doubly in denial and obtuse about his own feeling for YW.. and is very weary of anything WY says or does due to his past experiences with him .. so this should be really fun 🤣 Awesome video as always ❤️

Yan-lang!!!! Yan-lang!!!!!! 😭 I've been waiting for this!! I love Yan Wushi tormenting Bixia Sect, haha. But there's no one he torments more than Shen Qiao! 😂 What a wonderful set of chapters,,, I love their dynamic so much..... it's so good,,, 👏 Had a blast reading along with you and listening to your thoughts! Can't wait to get further into volume four (along with further into their relationship)! 💜

I would not blame SQ for trying to strangle YWS – he’s at least gone from being “terrible and cruel” to “teasing aggressively” – so…it’s progress! But yes, YWS deserves the cold shoulder from SQ – he’s got a long way to go, still! I 100% agree that YWS was trying to get advice from Yun Kunchi – it’s just the process of “getting advice from someone else” is so foreign to YWS that he has no clue how to do it without being just enough of a prick, hahaha!! Yan Wushi is SO IN LOVE! And realizes it! Yes, 100% agree with you on here and Shen Qiao is the one that makes him realize his love and acceptance of him – *kicks feet* – AHHH!! And yes, YWS now has to WORK to get Shen Qiao’s love and Shen Qiao is doubly in denial, as you said - it’s going to be very interesting to see how this goes down! HAHAHA That is SO TRUE about YWS and Yuwen Song, hahaha!! And yes, he’s making it EVERYONE’S problem! It’s hilarious! But yes, Shen Qiao deserves to be chased after, indeed! Ahhhh, that’s SUCH a good point about him compromising his principles and beliefs because they aren’t evil, ahhhh, so interesting! That is SO interesting about their WeiQi game!
