This episode was 100% PRECIOUS! The friendship that has developed between Reki and Langa can cure diseases, y'all. I -- I just love how wholesome it is!

Plus, we get to learn Shadow's "secret identity," which was hilarious, and it looks like little Mr. Miya is making his way into the plot!

Thank you all for watching the full length reaction and for the support!

There are a lot of Given type references with this show. I love the scene of the Skating is infinite. Reki and Langa's relationship is wholesome on a whole different level.. When you look at their personalities...Renki - Bright, outgoing, full of sunshine but messy. Langa- "cold", quiet, reserved and focused. Both have passion for what they love - Renki LOVES skating and Langa has a passion for Snowboarding. Although, Langa's passion is also associated with his father. Skating is associated with Reki. Joe and Cherry interactions are life, perfect foils for each other.

Yessss, ,I'm noticing (if Reki's dad isn't in the picture) that it's the single mothers like with Yuki and Mafuyu, too, in addition to their bonding moments here. Hmmm. ^^ And I love how their passions are expressed in this episode, but it looks like Langa is slowly realizing a new passion with Skating, thanks to Reki -- maybe like how his father got him into Snowboarding? Very intriguing. And I need more Joe/Cherry interactions! They really are awesome foils! Yes!!

Eeeeeeee, I hadn't watched this episode since it originally aired, I forgot how aggressively ADORABLE Reki and Langa becoming friends and learning to skate was. *heart eyes* Joe and Cherry embody one of my favorite dymanics: Two Very Cool Dudes Who Turn Into Idiots Around Each Other, lol. I'm actually kind of impressed they both have such robust fan clubs, you'd think all the bickering might diminish the mystique. XD Oh, and I had a similar "Is this a Jack Johnson song?" reaction to the ED before my brain caught up and realized it was in Japanese. Excited for my smol kitten son, Miya next week! Between him and Atsushi, you've got 200% more catboy in your life, haha.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling the Jack Johnson vibes! Hahaha!! I mean, yes, one would think their bickering would dissuade the fangirls, but I mean...I MEAN...Joe is a mighty beefcake of a man and Cherry is so beautiful...I think the fangirls are like us and just look past it. XD And OMG, Reki and Langa are so wholesome -- their friendship is like a pure dose of sugar to my veins! And oooooh, man, 2021 is giving me a good dose of smol catboys in my life that I didn't know I needed, haha!! :D

Ok, so... it didn't take long but this ship has officially sailed for me :P ! 95% of this episode just dedicated to the boys hanging out, I love it. Like, how cute are they!?! That little elbow they give each other in the shop has me friggin' weak. And, wow, Langa's already meeting Reki's family, huh 😏? Reki's mom reminds me SO MUCH of Yuri Katsuki's mom. The art on Langa's board is so cute! And just the fact that Reki made him a board is so, so sweet and wholesome. I'm a bit worried about getting baited, too... but I am cautiously optimistic. I feel like Miya is gonna be a lovable little shit, haha! I hope he becomes a buddy. I feel strong ship potential for Cherry and Joe, but I need to see more. And I see what you mean about the Given vibes, especially with the idea that Reki will teach Langa, like Uenoyama teaching Mafuyu. (And I have a suspicion Langa is going to have wells of untapped talent that will get unlocked, too.) Also, them bowing to the shop manager reminded me a lot of how Ueno and Sato bowed to Haruki to get his blessing. I'm kinda dreading some of the angst this show might hit us with. Like, where on the spectrum will it fall from Free! to Bananafish? Hopefully closer to Free!, though I wouldn't mind some higher stakes. Great reaction as usual!

RIght?! This episode was so WHOLESOME throughout it! I had not even thought about how Reki's mom is like Yuri's mom!! But she is! Thankfully, his little sisters aren't leaning against the wall with cigarettes! XD I have a feeling Miya is going to be a little shit, too, but an endearing one, so I'm excited for that! And yessss, I don't want to be baited, but the vibes are ALL THERE. I get that same vibe with Langa, too, that he's got all this snowboard experience and transferring it to skating is going to make him seem super prodigy-like! And I can totally see the "bow" connection from Given to them in the shop! Reki is way more...optimistic...than Uenoyama, but still has that teacher vibe! :3 Ahhh, I need more Joe and Cherry, but I see the shipping potential there, too. And yes, I want to say that it's going to lean more to the Free! side of angst, because the show's overall more light-hearted, but I just want to protect our boys! **hugs them** Thank you for the kind words! This show has already won my heart over!
