This one should definitely go in your hall of fame of reactions to certain scenes! Not gonna lie I was cackling away in the last 2 mins of the episode. Now you truly know why Johan is in the ‘babygirl’ camp. Exclusive to the attractive, fictional, morally grey men out there. Also helps that he’s blonde, don’t ask me why! (I mean there are outliers like Reigen but he belongs in every camp imaginable anyway so it don’t count) I’ve now only seen 3 reactions to this scene (yours included) SOS Bros knew pretty much instantly in episode 43 and Flaming Shark got completely shocked by the ‘wig scene’’ too. Also just from talking to other people it can go either way so don’t worry! That’s why it’s a great twist. It’s also great because if you actually listen to the VA her voice is much more ‘airy’ and fainter than when she voices Nina. Another great clue in. Plus Johan has long moments when he doesn’t speak in these 2 episodes. Rewatching 42-44 is hilarious once you know. I remember being confused in 43 and then the sweets came out and I was like “Wait… Nooo …. Could it? … NOO …but wait … it’s something HE would do though”. I had it in the back of mind as a possibility and then of course by the time he’s walking the streets and people are greeting him as Anna, I knew my suspicions were correct. I remember actually clapping for him at the end 😂 because it was such a good move! I LOVE a good antagonist and he is just sheer perfection.

That was a Werther's worthy episode

Oh man, if I hadn't been completely FLOORED and my mind on the pavement, I should have remembered to grab a Werther's! :3 Thank you for the comment!

Hahaha, oh, thank you! This was definitely one of my favorite episodes I've reacted to in a while! I think I was honestly surprised because Johan seems like a character that doesn't stray from that "signature look" he has -- so him dressing as Nina wasn't even on my RADAR. In hindsight, it makes allllll the sense, but the VA being Nina's (I thought she was just acting more airy to seduce Suk) and Johan not giving us any inclination he'd go to these lengths in the past completely fooled me! Insanity! I'm just glad Nina's character wasn't compromised as of yet hahaha but man WHAT a reveal! One of my favorite reveals from a series and one of my favorite Monster episodes! Thank you for the comment!
