Playing With Caeda (Patreon)

Bluesky/PixivHow is her right arm staying up like that? I don't know. I just know that Caeda's helpless to do nothing but flop around like a piece of paper for as long as the operator of the machine wants!===============================================================About the Piece and My Thoughts:Yes, I know the pose doesn't entirely make sense if you couldn't tell, but we're already forgoing a bit of logic here, aren't we?This was just me playing around with the wave modifier in Blender, which I learned about a long time ago when I first started out, but never used with a little bit of motion blur added too. Perfect for playing around with objects like paper, flags, and cloth. Also, I learned how to make transparent videos and GIFs, even working with a green screen, so I think that's pretty neat.===============================================================Extra Notes:I think for the smaller pieces that are self explanatory and generic, I won't bother putting in certain sections for the descriptions just to condense it a bit more, depending on whether or not I actually have input for it. In other words, if I have nothing to write for a section, I won't include it. It just makes sense.===============================================================References/Fun Facts (For the Curious and the Easter Egg Hunters):- Now that I think about it, Caeda compared to Lucina is actually rather interesting. They both have long, blue hair, they're both princesses, they both have strong connections to Marth, they both have unique weapons, and they're the only ones to have bride costumes available to them in Fire Emblem Warriors. I don't see how I could ever fit those costumes in naturally or reasonably for an animation with either of them, soooo, why not use them for generic animations instead?- This is the first GIF I've made for the gallery. All of my other animations have been videos on YouTube. I could've used cloth physics, but if I wanted to make the GIF loop, going with the wave modifier seemed much more straightforward.- This isn't the first time I've tried to make a looping animation. My first attempt at it was actually Lyn Caught in the Cycle, but I ended up not doing that because of my inexperience with Blender at the time.===============================================================Credits:Characters: Caeda (Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light).
