May's Troublesome Snorlax (Patreon)

Let's hope that someone will find her soon. Snorlax might just go right to sleep (Possibly on top of her) after this one for a long while!===============================================================Notable Concepts, Ideas, Techniques, and Thoughts:- Although I really like how the May model looks, the shape keys for it weren't entirely built well, but that's where I step in, of course. Even the Snorlax kind of didn't like me for turning its neck so much, creating some awkward shadows and black lines in the final render, but I Photoshopped it all away. Maybe I should go catch a different Snorlax?- That being said, I'm starting to get a bit better with making my own shape keys and understanding how to use proportional editing for it.- Aligning May with the Snorlax was a bit strange and frustrating at first, since when I tried to copy the mesh of Snorlax, it for some reason stayed linked to the hierarchy of the original Snorlax. Not only that, the texture for May didn't want to cooperate and was all over the place at first. But hey, I got it to work at least.===============================================================References, Fun Facts, and Extra Details (For the Curious and the Easter Egg Hunters):- This is actually a recreation of a drawing I have saved.
