Bluesky/PixivOof, seems like something large and round pressed Sakura right into the wall so hard that it dented inwards with her! But I'm sure she'll be fine.===============================================================Notable Concepts, Ideas, Techniques, and Thoughts:- I went ahead and looked at videos to learn how to use the cycles rendering engine instead of the internal rendering engine that I've been using this whole time.- In addition to using cycles, I've learned how to use nodes and the node editor as well. I should be able to apply this new knowledge for internal renders, which means that model touch ups will hopefully be much more refined now, even if I'm not using cycles.- I actually reworked this two times. The first was for technical reasons, but the second was to apply more new knowledge (I made another few renders after this, which all turned out nicely) and honestly, I'm glad I rerendered it since it looks a billion times better now. Initially, Sakura just had washed out colours, but I was able to figure out how to give transparency to an already transparent texture, which was the original goal that I had no clue how to do at first with cycles.- I'm going to try to be a lot more particular with lighting now to increase the quality of my renders and make them more visually pleasing.- I watched another tutorial on creating grass in order to fine tune it and make it more realistic, now including the use of simulated wind as well.- I wanted to see if I could somehow part the grass to make a trail that leaded to Sakura, as though the grass was pushed away. My experiments worked to some degree, but not in the way I hoped, so I left it out. It's a start.===============================================================References, Fun Facts, and Extra Details (For the Curious and the Easter Egg Hunters):- Why Sakura? ...Because Sakura's cute, enough said. Truthfully speaking though, she was the first model I touched up using cycles before I even thought about making this render.===============================================================Credits:- Characters: Sakura (Fire Emblem Fates).
