🍟 Friday Poll – Main Character Portraits in Real Pixel Art? (Patreon)

For this week’s second Friday Poll, I’d like to ask about a possible visual change for the game.

I’ve recently come across a friend who is a pixel artist whose work it's great, and it made me seriously consider the possibility of having the main character portraits redone in a proper pixel art style.

Of course, as many of you know, art is expensive, so before moving forward with something like this, I wanted to ask for your opinion.

To be clear, this would not mean redoing every single portrait in the game. The idea would be to remake only the main cast, including all of their facial expressions.

I’m also asking this because I know it might feel a little strange to some players if the main cast had fully hand made pixel portraits, while some random NPCs still kept AI-generated portraits. So I’d like to know how you feel about that possible visual mix.
