There has never been a perfect photo, not even from the great masters. If you have a look at contact prints from their negatives, you can see how much they have been working on specific subjects before settling on the ultimate photo. And the search for goes on even after...Exploring a subject is important, having the model to change position whilst you have created the right situation, or changing the point of view of the photographer, can impact the final image a lot. That's why I produce long sequences of each situation, and many pictures end up being good pictures.I'm not like a famous photographer that need just the one iconic photo for the press, and ditch everything else, I enjoy also the process, and I can afford to use many pictures from the same sequence, because they all work fine, so I can use them later on, or on different platforms, but I still want to show them, even if they are similar to others I've shown before.

I'm also not famous, so people might have been lead to my work just recently, and might not have seen the previous photos, or might have forgotten about them.I see my work more like providing a high number of pictures of beauty, and keep you people constantly exposed to my models, so variation in poses are only going to tell a slightly different story about this young lady, a different aspect of her character, and this is helping me to tell the story about who she really is, one more nuance of her personality.

Today's photo of Corine, for example, is very strong and statuesque, but her left hand still appears in search of her final position, as if it was not settled yet. This makes the pose somewhat imperfect, like an hesitation, but for this reason also more real and casual. It is this mixture between decisiveness and indecisiveness than makes working with real models so fascinating.

2 more variations in this sequence with Corine later today on my regular social media and on DA Subscriptions.
