Second day with Maria. (Patreon)

Everything went well yesterday, not only the shooting itself, but also the trip with the Seven, the weather, and the location.It was a very hot day as usual, but this abandoned factory reclaimed by vegetation was pleasantly cool in most parts.This is a factory I've never used before as locations for nudes, but it is a very promising place.There was nobody around, Maria just stayed fully nude all the time, and we were walking around the premises as if it was our property, she even practice singing (more on that in the following weeks).

We shot a total of 991 frames, and Maria enjoyed herself a lot, she even asked for some pictures she wanted for herself.Today's photo is an example, she wanted to be photographed in this position and with this door in the background, but I like so much the photo I'm showing it to you all even before I will show it to her.As I told her before starting, the shooting in the factory was going to be more about her than the location, because this place was not as impressive as the abandoned hospital, and yet I believe our more relaxed approach helped getting some even better results compared with the 15th, or maybe we were just tuning in on each other more on the second day.I never have the chance to spend some days with the models (I rarely shoot with most of them a second time...), but this mechanism appears to be very powerful and hopefully you will see the results in the pictures.Whatever the reason, I think we managed to make her shine even more on the 16th, and show off the charm of such a humble location at the same time.

Take this photo, for example, this is just an emergency exit, but with Maria blocking the door, the backlight, and the mess all around, I'm proud about what we achieved.For this picture I used the Leica SL-2S + the Leica ELMARIT-R 1:2.8/135mm, same combination of the photo from the first day, and I'm starting to like this telephoto a great deal!I'm also reconsidering the use of longer focal lengths in large spaces, and I will experiment more in the future.It is true that I'm not showing much of the surroundings (like I'm used to with a 50mm or an 85mm), but getting a long way away from your subject and selecting a small corner of the building is creating a magic in itself.This 135mm is not only for portraits, and works well also on distant subjects, just check the spider webs near the windows on the top of the frame!

The plan for today, the 17th, third and last shooting with Maria, we've confirmed the new and smaller nudist beach on the Adda river, I hope everything is going to work out well also in this case, and that our creative bond can be even more powerful than during the previous 2 days.
