Cozy Sketchbook Cover Makeover (Ad-Free YouTube Video) (Patreon)

Watercolor will always be my main love, but every now and then I crave something a little more bold (and a little more forgiving;) - where I can just make a bold mark, layer on top, and keep moving without overthinking. Have you ever tried that - switching mediums / styes just for the fun of it? ☺️

So in today’s video I’m giving one of my watercolor sketchbooks a little makeover using acrylic markers. I swatch the markers on both white and black paper, test opacity and line variation, and then paint a full design right on the dark, laminated cover. It ended up being such a cozy, playful project - and a chance to try a more decorative style than I usually do.
