I was so excited to start this last night. Had a good start but found it very difficult to follow at times. I may try again working with the basic steps provided with video but I think I may have more success just looking at finished painting. Hope it works out for me it is a gorgeous painting.

Hi Cindy! I am glad you started already - it’s totally normal to have a few tries, i do it all the time. Notice what did and didn’t work out. And please let me know if I could add anything to the instruction to make it easier. What was the most difficult part for you?

I think for me it seemed to jump around a little closer to the beginning with the paint colours...the greens in particular. I could see how you were painting like anyone would normally paint on their own but I had to keep stopping and try to catch up then going back to check to see if you mentioned the correct green to use. Could just be me. It is a bit hard too right now because the paints are just hard to get. Curry's (in Whitby closest to me) is so very low on stock due to the pandemic. I had to settle for Winsor & Newton. Although I think they were very similar to DS colours on the video seemed different. Visually I had trouble discerning which green to use if you didn't mention it. I have redrawn the sketch and will give it another go. Not the first time I have had to rework a piece. lol I sometimes curse myself for falling in love with watercolour. haha Thank you for your response - much appreciated.

Anna, where would I find the outline? I have searched, but I'm not searching in the right places, apparently.
