Thank you so much Diana! I am also doing something new here in terms of the footage - my palette will be visible for the most part so hopefully i will be able tooffer more information this way about the water / paint ratios I use ☺️

Wow. Can't wait to try this one. Thank you Anna.

Wowww... this is AMAZING! So harmonous (i think it's right pronoince from harmony) and peaceful. Looking forward to try this one! Can't wait either for what winter and christmas surprise u'll be amazing us with. I haven't attempted yet to paint after your tutorials but watched .. alot. All beacause of lack of confidence, not giving me "me time". Which is sad because painting is such a wonderful meditation but I hope there will be a change on.

Gorgeous!! 😍😍😍

Anna, can’t wait to put my brushes on paint to do this one. Including the pallet and seeing the ratios of paint/water will help so much! I did a version of the lanterns substituting a couple of colors so I also hope to have the right colors this time.

Laurie

So beautiful! I love the blue! I have tried painting a couple deer recently and was not ha-oh with my result. But seeing this one has inspired me again.

How exciting! I can hardly wait!

Thank you so much! And I totally understand the feeling you are describing :S I know deep in my heart painting time is a meditation [and the only way I know how to really slow down and reduce my anxieties especially since 2020] but I can't get out of my own way sometimes and overthink. There are 2 ways that help me - i just thought I'd mention in case it might work for you. 1) Sometimes I just do swatches or blends of several colors to see what i like. That's it. No other goal just playing with color. I find it to be very relaxing and gets me out of my painting "funk". This is actually how I got started on the squirrel study that lead to this painting....I was just testing my ochres and blues :) 2) Another thing that works is to paint something for yourself [something you don't plan to share / post / explain ] kind of like a personal color experiment with no expectations. You'd be surprised what you can do when you remove the pressure! :) 💜

thank you Yvonne! I am doing a segment just about the colors here to help with potential substitutes:) In a way this one is easier because you only need Sienna and Indigo - the rest are optional! 💜

Thank you Laurie 💜 I am wrapping up the first hour tomorrow. Deers are tricky because it all looks brown but there are some unexpected undertones [depending on the light]. I''ll do a segment on this specific palette as part of the first layer video :)

Thank you Marie - Part 1 should be out tomorrow / or Saturday depending on hhow lng it takes to process.
