This chapter is long (again) and it came out less late this time (yay). I want to note that in hindsight I'm not happy with how the previous Jon PoV came out in ch 72 and might add and rework parts of it to make it smoother and expand on the things in Warg Hill. I don't feel I did everything justice. (you can expect this before the next weekend, will announce on Discord). For all those wondering, all chapters go through one or two more couple of cold edits (98% cosmetic/flow and in the rare 2% cases I missed something, I plug some plot hole or another) after I've had time to settle before hitting sites like FFN/QQ/AO3. You can read the previous chapters in the collection.

Man the only thing I can ever think of while reading Aegon’s scenes is that Ned is going to laugh himself sick when he hears what comes out of his mouth.

Finally someone suggested maybe asking the brother back who smashed a horde of mythical ice creatures and still has thousands of hardened warriors under his banner. Curious though the slightly ominous writing you had about Jon in the maesters words. Love this story, and eagerly await every chapter. I do hope we see further interaction soon. As of now, all the main characters seem to be doing their own thing. I’d love to see Jon wipe out Balon, or Ned come after the reach armies.

Another amazing chapter. Also I love love love the whole excerpt at the end of the chapter. It gives a thousand foot view of all that’s going on while giving perspective.

Let’s go!!! Was not expecting Loras to get killed by the plague. Theon doing Theon things as usually, the idiot. Brackens and Blackwoods bickering like 3 year old. And Sansa finally speaks some sense. I can’t wait for the next few chapters. The Warg Lord vs The Greyjoys! Myr vs Ned Stark! And I can’t wait to see what happens to the Blackfyre.

I can see Ned crossing swords with Barristan and saying something like “You should’ve died at the Trident.” Or “I should’ve persuaded Robert to listen to Bolton at the Trident.” Idk just spitballing.
