I'm late again(far more late than I should be). But thankfully, BT edits are done, so I can finally take a few days off next week and recharge. Anyway, a nice medium-sized chapter.

Lemme know what you think in the comments below.

You can read the previous chapters here.

Love the story and it’s going to be nice when Harry becomes stronger than he ever was because of his phoenix form and fully heals soon

Racenrise

Oh man, this voldemort seems like he is going go be a real menace. I’m a little sad the meeting with the headmaster hasn’t happened yet… i feel teased. Loved everything else, Thanks for the chapter!

I am not even sure where this is going to go....so you took all of Harry's hardwork and flushed it so that he can turn into a magical animal, and also took part of his life force I for it...yea could have done without it to be honest.

Its nice to see Juno have some relief from her fears

Patrick Perrault

I hope Harry regains his full strength sooner rather than later, as a sane Voldemort is a massive threat. Great chapter, I wonder how much is left at this rate.

Brooks Wells

Fawkes is going to be very interested in Harry when they meet

Archimedes

And Juno took her shot!!!

One step forward, 3 steps back. At least he got rid of a bunch of werewolves - but sane Voldemort is terrifying. Hopefully the next time we see Lupin he is regretting his post Hogwarts life bleeding out somewhere. 5% of his lifespan aint so bad, it's losing his magic that is the worry. Gonna be a tough few chapters especially considering Juno has to go to trial with a heavily corrupt governement.

UponAPaleHorse45

ya not so worried about the lifespan thing right now, it's literally not going to be an issue for like a century or two. That is of course predicated on the bird form not just letting him being as immortal as he wants to be. and also...... Oooohhh Juno kissed Harry..

@gladiusx Somewhere in here you said Friendfyre instead of Fiendyre which was so perfect it made me laugh.

The KISS has finally HAPPENED! God, gladlad sure is good at building tension between two characters and making me wanna see them kiss. Great chapter, thanks for your labor and all of your warm, freshly-excreted sweat– Rather, thank you for the chapter. Potential typos: “Fawkes,” he whispered, and the phoenix flames in, landing on his shoulder. "Flamed," perhaps, as a verb? Neither autocorrect nor spellcheck appreciated a non- standard verb.. Edit: "Caeli lacrima" = "Heaven's tears" or similar? That's good, linguistic spellcraft. Edit2: "The cluttering of plates and cutlery came from the kitchen" — clattering? Edit3: "homonclus" — homunculus?

Can't say I like the phoenix animagus form so far. There's not enough advantages for the consequences shown yet. I really do hope that the advantages outweigh the negatives and it isn't some sort of balance where he'll have to be self-sacrificing to win in the end.

natio

I don't think we know what all the advantages are yet. Remember Voldemort from Harry's head triggered all of this in the ritual he started. It could be that being a Phoenix animagus, a magical creature of power and fire, is going to boost Harry's already incredible gains in magic. A Phoenix takes time to recover to full after a burning day, Harry might need that same amount of time too. Also being able to be a Phoenix means Harry can't be kept from anyone he wants to appear to and might have better intuition.

Overall good, I like that the romance wasn't dragged out or overly dramatic. I was kinda hoping for the other girl but they're both cool. Sane Voldemort and him believing that Harry is irrelevant are both good story elements. I look forward to how the TWT arc will turn out without someone to force Harry into it, that book or OoTP are my favourite plotwise, so I do hope he takes part in the tasks. The 'phoenix animagus' thingy kinda comes across as a very Gary Stu, tropish thing. I like the story because he's getting somewhere slowly but surely with a lot of hard work. An animagus form is entirely random, so with this and the snake armor thing it kind of just feels like he's being given advantages for free? I guess he needs them, but being unable to die is busted no matter what it does to him. I'm going to assume the belief in his squib state by the healer is just ignorance due to this being a unique situation. I do hope it's resolved quickly though, I don't think I've ever read a story about a squib MC in Harry Potter and that doesn't sound great. Again it's overall great and one of my favourite HP stories. Looking forward to more and hoping the story keeps it pace.

Well Tom is not mad dog now and be more sane once he combines his soul pieces. I am glad Harry and Juno finally kissed. I wonder how will fawks treat Harry
