A bit late, but not as late as I feared. I liked this chapter perhaps too much, and I totally didn't go down a rabbit hole with hunting/archery/skinning vids on YT. Totally.

Excellent chapter. Brynden Rivers full bodied basic training is turning Jon into a beast. Good thing he’s also focused on mental and physical balance. Canon Jon Snow is dying and something else is growing in his place.

Thank you, and I like seeing how Jon is improving and becoming quite the accomplished archer. I feel like he will have the best of all the Great Bastards from Bloodraven. It would be interesting to see Jon with Daemon Blackfyre's skills in sword, Aegor Bittersteel's ways in war, and Bloodraven in archery and magic. I still hope that Jon gets himself a few animal companions like the dire wolf, raven, and something else. He could become like Varamyr Sixskins before he becomes a powerful Warg. Well, let's see what will happen with Jon's latest kill. Great job, as always, and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

Archer Jon and his training is very interesting. This story is much more intriguing that I thought it would be.

Very interesting episode. I see a Jon who is slowly freeing himself from a great burden (saving the world from the others) and at the same time grieving for everything he's lost (friends, sisters he'll never see again, etc.). A combination that is slowly creating a new person, molded by Brynden and with Jon's essence. Is it just me, or does Brynden want me to kill the children of the forest...?
