I'm so back! And the chapter is longer than I planned, and I couldn't stop writing. Not of the same giga-size, but this one has two new PoVs, so you can almost consider it a sort of interlude, even though the plot moves forward. Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments.Website. Google Docs.As always, Google Docs link shall be scrubbed the moment it leaks.

This was a lovely chapter. Juno continues to be my favourite character in a growing number of ways.

Temp Email

Wait, how did Juno know that? Did she get Grindelwald’s memories or is he an undead shade teaching her?

Archimedes

Great chapter! Poor nymphadora

Alkole

So minerva just broke through the control wonder if she has anything else broken through as well

Alkole

Honestly dont get why he didn't just duel fleur right there and move on 🤣 would of been cool to see him flex once in a while

Racenrise

I guess the situation with fleur is firebird recognizes firebird, even if harry feels way different due to the basilisk. Her doing mental gymnastics to justify her obsession was pretty funny, she was getting pretty sharp with her friend though. Juno was excellent in all ways once again, poor nym though. Nice for Eros to get some respect from his family, it seemed like from the brief snippet we saw of their personal dynamic he doesn’t show them or anyone his serious side often.

Teen Ron not making an ass out of himself in front of a veela. Guy has grown

2026-09-05 13:00 Wow... Juno is as obsessed with Harry as Voldemort is with living forever. It's slightly obfuscated due to the POVs this chapter, but it feels like everything she has done this chapter is either to protect her claim on Harry or because she thinks it would make him happy. It's impressive seeing that obsessive trait of her father focused on something besides immortality. Or at least it seems on the surface that is why she healed McGonagall, or reinducted Andromeda into the Blacks - to please Harry. She never had a close relationship with either. It would have been a lot of work experimenting with Harry's poison tears and picking up that counter curse. I am interested in knowing at some point precisely what is going on with her learning from Grindelwald. It's been a while, but I recall he is dead now. Did he leave something akin to a holocron behind? Did he mind meld with her in some way? Was it a secret stash of journals and books on magic? The repercussions of a stronger McG will be interesting to see down the road. And seeing this version of Tonks due to the influence of her brother in her life is weird yet interesting. Covering Fleur's and Nym's fascination with Harry at this point in the story is something to keep an eye on.

Archimedes

Me thinks he may have just left behind a fake corpse. Even Dumbledore is a fallible human, as great a wizard as he is. Completely within the realm if possibility that he could be duped given the right set if circumstances. We don't know exactly what transpired between junos meeting with grindy and the present, so only time will tell I suppose.

Archimedes

I can't wait for the moment when Fleurs friend's opinion of Harry is undeniably refuted lmao. Something big is coming, and I'm sure there will be a sizeable audience.

CaptainFlowers

The most likely thing is Grindelwald may have hocruxed himself into Juno's ring, or something similar.

natio

I think Juno was planning on bringing the Tonks's back into the Black family before she was kidnapped by her mother. She said it to herself after she gave Nymphodora extra coin for more Basilisk Robes plus their silence.

Rhett Sellers

Oh, did she? I just didn't remember interaction between her and them. Maybe I need to go back and refresh myself on the story. My takeaway might be off.

Cant seem to log in to read the chapter

Lv1_Sword

Everytime I hit "Allow" it says can't complete request. Anyone know how to fix?

Lv1_Sword

Nvm, I figured it out. Great chapter 👌😁

gladiusx

You should use the top button. Sometimes, it takes a couple of tries (even for me).

Archimedes

Except grindy mocked the hell out of voldy when Dumbledore came asking questions about horcruxes. I think something else is afoot here.

Archimedes

Here goes a guess regarding Grindelwalds situation. A. He really is dead, and Juno managed to make a portrait for him so "he" can continue to teach her through it. B. It's a fake corpse and he's currently in hiding somewhere only Juno knows about.

natio

Ooo portrait idea is clever!

Love everything about this story. Very well done! Reread it from the first chapter on my day off, and last night dreamed Harry is now somehow able to tap into his new and old world magic mechanics and is able to be trained by Helena ravenclaw and hogwarts now ! Haha keep up the great work! Post again asap!

Archimedes

Well, it wasn't a portrait, but I was kind of in the right direction I suppose
