I’m so excited for more of this story. It’s always been solid and I’ve loved the world building, but now it’s getting downright fantastic!

Definitely feels like Rhaella has been tricked. I feel like either this a Bran situation where she essentially becomes a vessel or they wanted that dragon for a sacrifice. Of course it's possible that Rhaella is better informed on the situation but also possible she is not aware the Children hate Jon and that creates the problem.

Loved Gerold’s pov. It was cool seeing his thoughts on everything that has happened since he was assigned to protect Rhaella. Can’t wait to see how this arc turns out.
