We shot multiple visual gags for Space Cop yesterday that I just want to put on a loop and watch over and over. I'm rarely that amused by our own material. -Jay

SPACE COP! I'm buying this movie and I don't even have a single DVD/Bluray drive in my house!

Travis Smith

Jay, do you guys have a estimate on when you'll be finished with Space Cop?

Red Letter Media

No idea. We've just been shooting whenever we have the opportunity. Got a lot done in April and a good amount done this month though. About 75% of the script has been shot at this point and all the scenes that require us to build sets are done. Everything after this is just real locations, which will be nice.

Travis Smith

Awesome! Thanks for the update

Chris Anderson

Exciting! I LOOOOVE that you guys are super old-school, and do REAL practical effects/gore/dummies/etc. It is so goddamn refreshing to see real shit, after the last 14 years of fucking mind-raping eyeball-numbing CGI bullshit. Keep it up gentlemen!

Jay do you think you'll do a blu ray for Spacecop? The visuals in the bits you've revealed so far look really slick, I'm presuming you're shooting HD. And hopefully in 3D @ 48fps because according to a Peter Jackson interview I read just before the Hobbit: the unexpected journey came out, THAT is the future of cinema....

and I hope there's a future re-release where all the space guns are replaced with space walkie-talkies.

Can . . . can we have one? We won't spread it around the internets, pinky-swear.
