Link in the description doesn’t work, fuckos.

Jeremy W

I knew Jay couldn’t resist Raimi.

Kevin Allard

I’m having a REALLY shitty Monday. Today everything decided to burn, and god this day just fucking sucks. RLM, I love you guys, thanks for giving me something to make this day less painful- I appreciate it way more than a random comment from an anonymous person can convey.

GrowSweeds

Now!? My innards tremble with joy.

Mike St Louis

Excellent! Mike and Jay’s triumphant return to the cinemas.

Carly

How do I jump to the verse where this is an EEAAO HitB? (love u though)

Rhea

'We want a movie where they're going through different universes and talking to people made out of food and characters are interesting and plotlines are well developed and there are lesbians whose sexuality can't be erased' literally Everything Everywhere All At Once you're looking for the motion picture titled Everything Everywhere All At Once Mike you should probably just have that wrong stamp permanently tattooed on your face

Bill Wilson

I'm offering 15 trillion PlinKoin (~50 billion DickTheBirthdayBux) for Top Hat Monkey. Elon John

James Fraser-Shelley

I want more re:view episodes on that TV show I don't watch with the horny old man in space.

Patrick Brennan

Upping my pledge so Mike can get a new keyboard

Hamish Mckie

I would give anything for you guys to review Everything, Everywhere at once.

Happy Panda One

Don’t fret about your non-sex name, Mike; I gave my wife the ol’ Stoklasa last night.

AllGoodNamesRGone

Great review, RLM. I always enjoy when Mike does a bit of a song, and he follows that with a nice Bryan Singer joke. To that one jackass complaining on twitter, there you go. There's a Batman (2022) review, a Spider-Man: NWH review, and additional thoughts on far from home. It sounds like both Mike and Jay are more bullish on this film. It's like both guys are less burnout on comic book movies than the whole movie going experience.

andrew

Mike: “I wish my name sounded like a sex position.” Me: “Black Bolt or Anson Mount?”

run_away

I wouldn't mind seeing another F4 attempt by Trank. I've always wondered if he was as much of an asshole as people made him out to be, or if Landis had something to do with it.

Benway23

Thank you for your work.

Ryan

To coin a phrase inspired by RLM, this movie suffers from Good First Draft syndrome. It had good ideas, and you can tell there was a lot of deliberate decisions made. But the script did not do a good job setting everything up and justifying why things happened the way they did.

Gregg Hudson

Where can I get that RLM mug?

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

How do they keep getting away with using Mysterio? Don't they know about Doctor Mysterio's Patented Video?

Patrick Brennan

Imagining the possibilities of the RLM multiverse. You know, where Mike replaces Jay. And Jay replaces Jack. And Jack replaces Jack 2. And Mr Plinkett replaces Hobbit Jay. And then at the end, a big brown laser shoots into the sky.

John Otto

In my more nimble days I could Anson Mount my partner for a good or hour or so. Then my back went out. Now we can only do a Stoklasa. Or just Rich Evans if I'm alone.

Looking up Bob Murawski I discovered that Sam Raimi edited Army of Darkness with him under the pseudonym R.O.C. Sandstorm. Bruce Campbell used the same pseudonym when co-wrote The Nutt House with the Raimis. I further discovered that Bob Murawski seems to be Sam Raimi's go-to editor. They've worked together on at least 5 movies. Currently they're working on World War 3, which seems to be an odd timing, considering the current geopolitical entanglements, and effects like rising energy prices and food shortages. But whatever. I guess, if I get the opportunity to watch Doctor Strange, I'd do it. I'm looking forward to what's next in the RLM pipeline.

Sam Raimi references are in the movie for the Sam Raimi fans so they can cheer at the references and feel special bc their references are different ant more special than the Marvel references and the Wanda Vision references and all the other cultural references. Raimi fans you have been referenced by the Mouse. Reference reference reference reference…

No interest in seeing this whatsoever, by the way... "Endgame" killed the MCU on a highly disappointing note for me. I saw "Far From Home" afterwards, because I had it on DVD, and it did nothing for me, whatsoever... "Spider-Man 2" will probably go down in history as Sam Raimi's last good movie, "A Simple Plan" as his last great one... that's fine with me...

Michael Federico

I'm glad Mike liked the last couple Spiderman movies. They're fun. :)

andrew

Is there a universe in the multiverse where there are no real super heroes, only comic book characters and actors portraying them for movies? Related, was “Star Wars” a movie in the Star Trek timeline?

CrispyMoist

I cannot keep up with MCU to save my life.

DonMac

Does Sam Raimi's '73 Oldsmobile make a cameo?

Amy L Jones

This was really, a very special Half in the Bag. Love, love love, the explanation of eater eggs.

Damon Killian

I'm calling this, the best episode of the year.

Billy Thompson

Pretty much agreed with this review. I was about 20 minutes into this film and thought, it felt off. Was hoping Raimi’s return would be a better Marvel than Dr Strange. This character is definitely better in a second fiddle role. Though I enjoyed all the Evil Dead nods and whiplash camera moves. SPOILERZ The movie would have been much better if undead Strange with the ghost-spirit cape was in more of the film. John Krazinski killed unceremoniously was a thumbs up at least.
