Mike Kai (The Limerick Guy)

I hope Sar Trek: Lower Decks, Prodigy or Strange New Worlds is discussed... They are all better than Picard and Discovery, but I'm betting if those had been watched they'd have a Re:View by now.

Manuel Johnen

I've seen "The Boondock Saints". It's a dudebro-douchebag movie.

Amanda Foster

Yay! I have something to watch while my kids taking her nap!

Manuel Johnen

I know the satisfaction of never watching a supposedly great movie out of spite all too well... isn't that right, "Run Lola, Run"...?

HoneyBee

Did Youtube just remove the last 6 months of videos in the last 20 minutes?

AshesBoomstick

I love you guys. Thanks for existing.

GrowSweeds

RLM is the candy of my life

RedVIII

Honestly, the Batman is such a great movie just from a filmmaking perspective. The cinematography and score is some of the best I've seen this year. I know the feeling of not wanting to see something because everyone keeps going on about it (that's why I've never seen Breaking Bad), but I think you will enjoy it. Another one I wish you would give a shot would be Arcane. Definitely the best show of 2021. Just saying.

Bill Wilson

Plenty of things to take away here. I do hope they watch "A haunting of Yaddle Heard".

fxdpt

Have you guys seen The Hatman? It’s not like those other fashion franchise movies, it’s a dark and gritty reboot and Robert Hattinson’s take on the Hatman is very unique.

MrCalvinCooper

In local news, Milwaukee internet celebrity and noted alcoholic, M. Stoklasa, goes on violent rampage killing 12, self. His VCR repair associates cite the Paramount+ streaming series “Picard” as the final reason for his succumbing to madness. Stoklasa is known for his complete and utter vindication of autistic film director, George Lucas. Sports is next.

Benway23

Thank You for your work.

"They get Annie Liebowitz -- they take her out of her coffin..." LOVE when catty New York society columnist Mike makes his appearance

Clancy Bundy

Kids in the hall… say… anyone see that “the wrong guy“ movie? Curious to see what Jay would think of that.

run_away

Mike smashing a crt monitor with a hammer is probably the most dangerous stunt that rlm has ever pulled

Kelly Nguyen

Please talk about Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. I’d love to hear what you guys have to say about it.

Damon Killian

Boondock Saints was a neat little indie movie, that became a Hot Topic poster.

Anne

Really thrilled to see Kids in the Hall included here, apparently this is the week Amazon decides whether or not to continue with it, so any extra attention is good news! Thanks for that.

DonMac

I think the filmmakers of "The Batman" stole Rich's "The Dark Night" script because the movie's so dark, you can't see shit.

Michael Puttré

I dropped Ozark in Season 3. What am I paying you guys for?

Michael Puttré

Archive 81 was actually really interesting until the very end, which was a we're not pickling this up ending. But you gloss over the good points.

Robby Chambrella

It's shocking to me that they have not watched "How to with John Wilson" on HBO it's right up their alley.

AllGoodNamesRGone

When Jay talked not watching things out of spite, that's totally me, lol. I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who reacts like that. Also nice to hear Mike and Jay were more bullish on the Kids in the Hall. Those guys were a huge influence on shaping my sense of humor and RLM are some of funniest and entertaining guys around now so it warms my heart that you guys liked it.

Jessie Zimmer

Guys ... 100,000 clicks is way too low. You have 1.4M followers. I honestly hope you don't do it either way and it evolves into Nukie 2.0. (It's currently at 76k and you've only yourselves to blame.)

Top Hat Monkey

I was so worried Mike was going to knock his Star Trek coffee mug off the edge of the desk. I own 2 of those exact mugs (because I was foolish enough to leave my first one soaking in water in the sink overnight, and it got 42% ruined, so I hadda replace it.) (True story, bro.)

andrew

Enjoy watching The Batman.

andrew

Now I know why it takes time to edit these episodes: Mike makes some obscure TV episode reference; Jay searches for online clips of said reference; Jay edits episode.

Rhea

Oh hey I watched Archive 81, it was fine! And I'll never know what happens, which is also fine. Mike I'm surprised you didn't talk about Barry, unless that's one of the shows you watched a season of and decided that was enough.

Michael Matzat

The final Season of Got was not nearly as bad as the internet convinced itself it was. It's much better than season six or seven of the show.

Notation

I think it would be interesting to see Mike talk about SNW because it isn't incredible or anything, but it does KNOW what Star Trek is and that's what is making up for adequate but not phenomenal writing (to be clear: IMMENSELY better than Disco's or Picard's). Like, it gets that Star Trek should have themes that make sense, and not have shooting very often if at all. The first episode has NO shooting! None! Optimistic tone. The characters like one another. Nobody's fucking yelling all the time.

Matthew Chambers

Now that the pinned comment has reached 100k likes, I look forward to nothing coming of this.

AllGoodNamesRGone

100k likes! We did it! Now RLM has to watch the Batman!... or not. I'm not their mama.

Chris L

Serious question - how spoilery is the video? There are a few shows here I'm actively watching or intend to but haven't finished.

Marvin Falz

I hated that cliffhanger ending of ALF. ALF had a family and rural town feeling, it was all rather nice, I always wanted to see Alf get back to his home world, and then I was shocked with that harsh reality of Alf being captured. And the movie was worse. As was the animated ALF show, where they wanted to make Alf be really cool on his home world with his girlfriend Rhonda, which felt completely wrong because - as far as I remember - they had no interesting stories, the dialogues were bad, they were reduced to Alf mostly making his usual 'clever' remarks, and the Melmac setting didn't help the show either.

Bort Ward

102k likes on the Youtube suckas. Now as a stranger on the Internet I am going to "hold you accountable" to watch "Thebatman". I'd rather get the previously promised Pizza Roll. (Glad to see Mike so animated again)

schopi

I did my part by clicking thumbs down on The Batman comment. I want you to continue not watching it out of spite!

Carly

I will watch Severance then! Even if it doesn't give answers by the end of the season. I do wish it was on another platform just as you guys said.

Tony B

I just started watching Severance, it's pretty good so far. Thanks for the recommendation. Sorry about having* to watch The Batman now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , it's not that bad, lol

Diane Harten

They always dump on Apple Plus, but I really think Mike would enjoy For All Mankind. It’s an alternative history where the Space Race keeps escalating, and each season is a time-skip to the next decade. So it’s part period piece, part sci-fi. It’s got character drama, but the science and diplomacy/politics really matter, so it kinda fills that Trek void.

AllGoodNamesRGone

Now that we hit 100k, I'm kind of waiting to see how RLM troll us. I know it's coming and I'm going to enjoy seeing how the boys do it.

Daniel Schmidt

Yall best be covering the Northman in the movie catchup at least.

David S

I didn’t even know ‘From’ was a show. Gonna check it out thanks to Mike’s review. I think the last horror show tv series I watched was ‘The Mist’ and that was a big letdown, so I hope this is as entertaining as I expect.

d0nkatron 5000

Severance was so well written and paced. I kinda wish it was just a limited series and had an ending with just one more episode after that cliffhanger. Pacing-wise I feel like that could have been a masterpiece. That being said, it's soooo well executed that I completely understand keeping it going and I do in fact want more.

Peter Kelly

I couldn't disagree more with Jay's comments about The Pentaverate, it's great! So many utterly appalling gags but it's quite heartwarming how earnestly stupid it is. It's all the best bits of Austin Power with none of the nastiness that crept into the sequels. Definitely recommend giving it a chance

Basement Ghost

Tried to tell any and all about Severance. No takers. They’re missing out. When this show blows up with the release of Season 2 or maybe 3, my “told ya so” will be locked and loaded.

Jermania

I'm completely with Mike on the ending of Ozark. All that buildup and it was such a wet fart of an ending.

Stephanie Blue

I'd love a re:view of Batman (adam west), Batman (Tim Burton) and the new Batman discussing the evolution of the character from kids show hero to psychotic detective or whatever he is now. Rewatching the Adam West movie and remembering that this is a kids property is pretty jarring these days. I also like you guys waiting for the digital / Bluray releases for these big budget films, you can say a lot more when you can show clips referencing your thoughts.

Rhea

Okay so I finished episode 7 of Severance last night and a certain reveal had me looking back at so many moments even during THAT EPISODE and feeling pure heart wrenching agony so I can't wait for the last two eps to destroy me completely <3
