Best kind of clash

Matthew Chambers

I'm tuning in to see if Jay's learned cinematography in the past day.

Ryan

it’s a memorial day miracle

Stan Jonathan Keller

I was going to play whiffle ball with the kids….it will have to wait.

The Smegma Mastermind

Was just sitting down for lunch, and now I have something to watch with it. I have been blessed.

Lance Batty

My day just got 1,000 times better!

DonMac

What have they dug up this time?

Sean Kirby

It’s the best Sunday ever!

Wynand van Dyk

RIP Historic movie artifact, destroyed during an episode of BOTW, how embarrassing.

Bill Wilson

So this hot chick insisted on having sex with me. I had to tell her to sod off, I needed to watch the latest Best of the Worst. I think this movie caused and/or cured epilepsy. I can see shades of Miami Connection and Partners in it. Gremlin should lay down the booze, he almost broke one of the rules there.

Brock Barber

Being sleepy in bed while on the phone with the bank is the most relatable thing I have seen in a movie in years.

Amanda Foster

Directed at Jay regarding Twitter; I’m sorry for adding fuel to the latest fire regarding the Obiwan fiasco. I deleted my comment because you don’t need the BS blowing up your phone lol. Anyway, I haven’t seen the new Best of the Worst yet but I’m very much looking forward to it 👍🏼 Edit: I’ve since watched this review twice and oh boy what a doozy of a film. I was thinking wouldn’t it have been cheaper to like book a study room at the public library to film in alá Deuandra Brown instead of the 10 motel rooms?

Benway23

Thank You for your work.

Jeff Kleist

People make their beds as adults?

DonMac

Paul Kattupalli will have the last laugh because now his movie finally became profitable due to RLM.

Manuel Johnen

"Ich bin ein Berliner... I am a jelly donut..." Thank you!

GrowSweeds

Life essence! Thank you.

James Van Sickle

Did a little research. Paul is a practicing doctor and very big into Evangelism. He got his medical degree while living in India before he immigrated to the States in 2001. Around the time he made this film, he was doing a residency in Altoona, PA, which is just south of Centre County where the film takes place. For those unfamiliar, Centre County is where Penn State's main campus is located. I guess the college in the film is supposedly based off Penn. I am not sure how medical degrees from other countries are handled for someone looking to practice medicine in the States. I assume he probably had to take some classes at Penn or somewhere nearby. He was board certified in 2010 and that film was created in 2011. Considering how much he talks about faith on his website, I am surprised RLM did not mention the film having a strong overt Christian message or theme, similar to something like God's Not Dead.

Mark Fetherston

I would request that the next time an episode begins with a legal disclosure, please include the names of all RLM subsidiaries. I think it would be appropriate and informative for the viewer. Is TopHatMonkey an LLC or a S-corp? Please and thank you.

Juan Calvo

Oh no, not the gremlin!

Michael Parker

You guys really are a breath of fresh air in these very particularly ideologically polarized times.

Sam

Was that an Indeed brewing hoodie Mike was wearing?

fxdpt

I love the spotlight episodes and this was no exception. Hilarious!

Christian Reiswig

I really loved having the text for the VHS box shown on screen, that’s a great addition. Amazing video as always, guys.

Ian Woods

Clash In The College has to be proof of alien life. No human, in any culture, at any point in history, suffering from any mental malady, could have made this movie.

Carly

Krishna being sleepy in two separate scenes is so relatable

Diane Harten

The “Social Issues Of Today” montage had me rolling. Great episode!

Rhea

I mean I would argue that the people which hot button American political issues affect the most are not privileged white college students and sometimes are not Americans at all but I get what you guys are saying I think. This guy fucking sucks anyway. Also you guys giving the Gremlin a full ass beer and not just an empty bottle is why you're my favorite, like way to commit to the bit.

Marvin Falz

I especially like the recreations of the transitions of Clash in the College. Perhaps the director and the editor of Clash in the College have their own special artistic way of perception, so if you'd ask them what they were thinking when they edited the movie, they'd be able to give you thorough explanations for their decisions. Or perhaps they felt that the material they had was boring, so they applied action-y cuts to increase the tension, because a guy listening on the telephone is so boring, so you need to show him from 5 different angles in a time span of 5 seconds. Perhaps they realised when they cut out all the boring stuff, they would have no material left to make the story coherent. It's a Memoral Day Mystery. Btw.: I am an American ... Ich bin ein weicher Keks mit Zuckerguss. Love you guys.

Daniel

I laughed a lot during this episode. This is one of those episodes I’m going to remember fondly. Bravo.

AllGoodNamesRGone

I swear that opening with the director slowly walking behind Jon Benet carrying all that stuff could be cut to look like a horror movie. It felt like watching a sex pest. Also the teacher's home being a Holiday Inn, lol.

DonMac

Did Holiday Inn pay him for all the product placement in this "movie" ?

andrew

This is like Shakespeare.

JTruts

Great episode, lots of laughs from the goofy editing recreations to Mike's hands to the gremlin music which had me laughing more at anything else this miserable weekend to of course this bizarre movie itself. Cheers from your neighbors in Minnesota, hope you're getting better weather....

Top Hat Monkey

In defense of JFK, saying "I am a jelly donut" is a lot like saying "I am Danish". A Berliner is the name of a tasty pastry, as is Danish. Now excuse me while I go to Dunkin' Donuts.

Frazzled Doo

Ya’ll’ve sat through so much cringe clench-jaw garbage ya can’t smell it anymore..ffs wtf Did I Absorb from This? It’s like some kinda jackass with more mental scars than puke..

Top Hat Monkey

Wanted punk rock, got punked. I was hoping for some "Rock the Casbah" when I saw the title. Oh well.
