Quick update (Patreon)

Just to let everyone know what is going on, the outlines for the next chapters of BW and TRC are done, but when I started working on TWO's outline, I just... started writing the chapter. I'm about twelve pages into TWO, and the progress seems to be coming quickly with my new desk setup. I was gifted a (used) tablet over Christmas, that I was using that to keep my outline/roadmap pulled up, as well as SOL, so I can peruse previous chapters more easily. This also keeps me from jumping on Chrome, seeing something interesting, and going "Squirrel!" which leads me down stupid rabbit holes I get lost in for hours before crawling back out. However, my wife is leaving to spend two weeks overseas, and she's taking the tablet with her, so I picked up a cheap 15.6 touchscreen "portable" monitor to take its place. Yes... I have finally joined the ranks of the double monitor users. :P

Despite saying that progress is coming quickly, there have been some vehicular issues in the family (the daughter's car engine blew up) that have pulled my attention from writing for days at a time. Even the afternoon of writing this, I will be traveling for two hours to go look at a car so we can gift ours to the child. If not for that, I think I would have been done with TWO's chapter days ago.

With all that said, I'm still hopeful for three chapters this month. My wife is leaving tomorrow, and while I love and will miss her dearly, I'm ready for a little peace and quiet to focus on MY work. With only one vehicle between me, her, and our daughter, she has been working from home a lot to alleviate our transportation woes. I love having her home, but she has also been a major distraction as the day of her departure draws near and her nervousness mounts.
The wife is also preparing manuscripts to be translated for all the presentations she's to give overseas and, of course, has been asking me to look over and edit them, which derails any writing groove I may have gotten into. Very frustrating.

Anyway, going to get back to it. I actually wrote the beginning of this post days ago, but writing a post doesn't mean much if you never actually post it :P Oh well... 😅

TLDR: Lots of IRL shit happening, but still hopeful for three chapters this month.
