What's been happening (Patreon)

A while back, I mentioned that there were some stories that I'd been holding onto for some time that I wanted to get out. After posting the last chapter of TRC, I started working on one of those (Male MC, modern setting, strange phenomenon, incest), hoping to get it out by the end of Nov. I soon realized that the story was a lot bigger than I originally believed and that this was going to take some time to finish. So on Dec 1st, I pivoted back to TRC.

That day I also strained something in my back that made it excruciatingly painful to sit at my desk and type. Then, to make things better, we went to our Thanksgiving/Christmas family get-together, and the wife and I came home sick (not Covid), like half the nation, it seems. My wife is still fighting its lingering effects.

A couple of days ago, I finally got to see the chiropractor, and he has me on the road to getting my back in order again. Which means I'm finally writing again.

Now, I haven't been idle this whole time. I discovered that propping myself up in bed and making sure my arm was supported allowed me to type for a while, but the constant pain wasn't really conducive to storytelling, so I mainly just got a lot of planning and "storyboarding" done (because it isn't really outlining at this point). To be honest, I might end up working from bed yet today. My back is still mending, and I still need painkillers to function. Thankfully I don't need anything stronger than ibuprofen or Tylenol anymore.

I still hope to get out two chapters this month, but there is still a lot planned with family and holiday get-togethers, so I hate to make that a promise for fear of making myself into a liar.

After Nov was such a good month, I just wanted you all to know what was going on in Blu's world.
