The first animes I saw were Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, FLCL, Trigun, Wolfs Rain, and Big-O, Fullmetal Alchemist. After that group from Toonami, I discovered Naruto. I still have to watch Bleach. I've only seen the first arc so far. One Piece i ended up watching fully as an adult during the covid lockdowns. I saw bits as a kid but being the youngest, I never got the remote unless I snuck back up to watch at night 🤣

everybody down plays how strong and scary luffy is. even if you back to arlong park he's breaking swords with straight strength. doing everything up to now without haki. even everything up to know has only been like 5 months in side the world of one piece tops and imagine that from a random civilians perspective on some random island a dude from the east blue randomly defeats one of the big bad's in arlong, couple weeks later you hear rumours about some dude who supposedly almost died where the last king of the pirates did but then he's also the guy who maybe took down crocodile (a whole warlord - but the government's covering that up) then you don't hear about him for a month or two and next thing you know he's got the most dangerous child criminal to join his crew and he declared beef with the world government and destroyed enies lobby and now he's got a $300M bounty. that's scary asf ***edit*** oh yh he did smack ts out of a celestial dragon too

Oh yes, the bathhouse scene in Alabasta was out of character for Luffy, Oda tried to fix his mistake by saying that he just mimicked what everyone else was doing just be a part of the group.

I knew the scene was gonna wreck you. You were all concerned about what Boa would do, trying to figure out the next turn the fight would take, then Boa sees the fire on her back and you're all "Oh! her back! So what is that on there?" and as you physically lean to get a better look to try to figure it out, Luffy is like "NOPE! Nothing to see here!"
