The way one pace cut some these isn't great IMO, especially where Robin is out of all the crews side stories hers is the most intriguing, I recommend going back and watching her episodes.

The parts with the other straw hats were from cover stories in the manga, which is why it was cut so strangely with one pace. The anime expanded the stories and focused on two crew members each episode. IMO it's worth it to watch the og episodes

Also yeah, Sanji's is... pretty bad, to say the least. I'm glad Oda has some good representation in other parts of the series, because Kamabakka kingdom is a pretty big miss

Christoph S

I agree with the other comments, even if you continue to watch One Pace for the streams, you should do yourself the favor to watch the OG episodes in your spare time. Too much good story is lost there.

I have to say, some of these stories have some incredible content that unfortunately just gets cut from One Pace. In particular, Robin’s story is quite compelling. I like One Pace, but I agree with everyone that sometimes it cuts out too much. The entirety of each of these Straw Hats adventures gets cut too aggressively, even though the content that’s cut is canon. It’s a cover story, so the anime staff had to add content to make it work in the anime… Please rewatch these cover story episodes.

Yeah. Idk what Oda was thinking writing that. He went from writing Bon Clay to that mess. Overall, however he does represent that community quite well.

ODAA SPARE THE BOY AND MY LIFE IF YOURS

I didn’t realize how much one pace cut out until I saw these reacts. There is for sure filler that needed to go but I hadn’t noticed the editing as significantly until now.

StrawberryMascarpone

Whether you think the way they chose to represent the queer community is incredibly problematic or you’re just happy there’s representation at all, everyone can agree that Bon Clay is the freaking GOAT.

I will never judge people by how they wanna watch something, but it's insane how much stuff One Pace cuts. Terrible way to watch One Piece imo

"i don't see what usopp stands to gain here" but putting sanji on kamabakka island will surely toughen him up 🤣

Robin beeing used as a working Slave.... Enoki: nice🤩 xD i know u mean it in a different way but didnt u learnd just 2 episodes ago how fucked up this is? 😬xD

Aziz56

King of the Sea refers to Whitebeard

Scootr

Whoa who chopped up Robin's story like that 😭

S.E.W.

Agree with the other comments, you will LOVE Robin's story specifically I think

GPM

Same... in the manga we mostly got cover stories then brief explanations where the crew was.... but the anime for its sin of adding fluff and stretching moments it did an amazing job flushing out the crews side adventures

Altaschweda

thats just the first part from everyones adventure. there will be more soon if i remember corect

Alex

I want more 😭. It’s so fun rewatching this with you. Enjoying it all over again

I really wish you'd watched the original one piece, I feel like a lot was edited out for one pace, especially Robins story. I get people wanting to edit out extra bits not from the manga but I think the anime has it's charm in it's storytelling, even if it is long

Hind R

But I always love your reactions!!! You're one of the few one piece reactors I watch because you're able to analyse and understand characters really well

KidCannabis

I havent said anything about one pace but damn they butchered the side story's of the crew, I feel like you wouldve actually enjoyed seeing the 10 minutes of each of their side adventures

Drew Radie

"This is actually so much of a bigger deal than I thought." Yup. Marineford is still my favorite arc in the series, and I'm caught up to the anime. "Weather! Kuma did this on purpose!" It took you a whole 10-15 seconds to clock that... It took me many episodes... There have been rumors in the comments about you having Observation Haki. They grow increasingly warranted with each episode.
