You: “He’s better now, right?” (skeptical face) Me: “….I guess.” (skeptical face) I think Alex is marginally better but I feel like he’s closer to the beginning of his journey than in a place of meaningful evolution. This episode was very emotional and very good. Each character had a kind of sad or bitter sweet storyline. That’s not common. Finally, I enjoyed George in this episode. I cracked up when he’s said to Derek, “if you die, who cares?” I know he didn’t mean it like that but it’s still hilariously callous.

I get where Adele is coming from because Richard always choosing the hospital over her has to hurt. On the other hand, I don't like ultimatums, especially when it comes to giving them in relationships. I wish I cared about Derek and Meredith the way a lot of fans do because the way fans described them, they were THE relationship to end all relationships, but I can't see it. Alex is very slowly starting to suck less, but he's still a dick.

i mean different people carry pregnancies differently. there are people who’s bellies barley grow, people who bounce back immediately, people who’s bodies are changed forever after. it really depends. especially since these girls are so young, their bodies carry the pregnancy differently as well. so the storyline is plausible. And lmao poor richard, im sure all the other times he was messed up for putting the hospital first, so adele’s ultimatum felt like an accumulation of being pushed aside. but my guy was literally dealing with the plague like??😭😭 what was he supposed to do Also i grew up watching this show with my mom as it was airing, so i remember the hype around meredith and derek. it was very very real. i think just the culture has changed since the early 2000s. albeit i was like 6-9 these first seasons so my opinions were just my moms at the time lmao and definitely as i got older watching i was like “wait i don’t think i like him” and definitely on rewatch i found him to be quite insufferable since basically the beginning
