the George and Meredith scene after his dad's surgery makes me cry every time i see it, because he was trying to be so strong for his mom and brothers but didn't let himself fully process it so seeing his dad in the bed just brought it all up...plus the contrast to Meredith and her "dad" plus how she feels about him and his family :/

rewatching this; it’s WILD that Burke literally NEVER takes accountability for his part in what happened; for his choices, his decisions, his actions, how he impacted Cristina - none of it - he literally never accepts any responsibility or recognizes his part - he just finally “forgives” (?!) Cristina … like, other than being immature as all get out, that’s hella problematic.
