I think Baily and Richard should have sat George's dad down for a thorough conversation. They just had that one brief talk in the hallway where he emotionally asked for them to go through with the surgery, but like George says, "he didn't know any better". He didn't understand how high risk he was. Just my perspective, I think I'd have been incredibly angry with Baily and Richard too.

George is right when he says that Christina's career was on the line, because if someone else found out about it and told Richard that she was basically covering for Richard and doing his surgery she could've been disciplined or even fired because they are technically lying to patients by promising them the best doctor in the field and then "an intern" is doing his job...her only saving grace was that she told Richard the truth and that Burke has this high of a reputation that Richard didn't want to tell anyone about it

oh absolutely, I think that's why he's so mad that she treats it nonchalantly cause SHE doesn't get that her career would've been over. And I agree on another thing with you: him talking to Burke but not Christina made no sense but I guess he's over that if we're judging it by their conversation outside the hospital
