That look on your face when they revealed Izzie and George slept together was all of us when we first saw it. Like for what reason? Who asked for this?

I wish I had an explanation for this, but I have nothing. Grey's has written some hits, but sometimes they do some really dumb shit that no one likes and this is a prime example.

I always felt like the writers realized they fucked up with Izzy's character being so against Callie and George's relationship/marriage and what she said during the last episode while giving a pep talk about Meredith and their friendships so they pulled out the George and Izzy sleeping together storyline out of their asses to try and justify Izzy's actions...Cause we saw how awkward was George around Meredith when he just had a crush so imagine what he'll be like around Izzy now that they "actually" slept together -.-"

Ngl, I'm annoyed by Burke. It's one thing to want basic things like communication which are out of Christina's wheelhouse but sometimes it feels like he wants her to fundamentally change who she is. Christina is marrying Burke because she's choosing him, she wants to be with him. This is a compromise because she loves him. It's reasonable for Burke to want better communication. It's reasonable for Burke to want an official marriage. But it's unreasonable to want her to suddenly *want* a wedding. That's not a "maturing" step or "opening up" step. That's just Christina. Some women just don't care about weddings or marriages. Christina has plenty of flaws but that's not one of them, that's just something about her. If it pisses Burke off that much, he needs to go find someone who fits his idea of what a partner should be. I'm over it.

As a person that's gone through a similar situation with a "best friend" before... I know you hate what happened, but it is a VERY VERY common occurrence in real life that best friends of the opposite gender get feelings and eventually explore them... so it was quite logical and predictable that they would eventually have something like this pop up.. the Meredith and George one was unexpected, but this particular coupling, of George and Izzy is not surprising what so ever.
