I love Addison and Callie's friendship, like the way Callie stood up for Alex and basically told Addison to give him a chance and that he's basically a better choice than Mark. And then Addison telling Callie that her suspiciousness about Izzy and George is valid...i love women supporting women!! Derek pissed me off so much in this episode...like you said, he keeps brining up communication to Meredith but then he doesn't tell her what he's feeling or thinking. And at the end Mark lied to Addison that he slept with someone so she wouldn't feel like a bad person for sleeping with Alex

I used to kinda get annoyed with the music after hearing it so many times, but now I love it again 🤣 "Are you dancing?!" Yes babe I do a lil dance with you every time 😭🤭

I think you're looking at the reason Derek is struggling with the decision between career and Meredith incorrectly. The reason why Derek is struggling is because for a surgeon the pinnacle of that career-wise is being the chief of surgery at a very good hospital.. When you are the Chief or in upper management at any big company (Medical or otherwise) that takes away ALOT of the time for outside of work things, romance/family usually will take the biggest hits and relationships are very hard to keep up when you have to work 60-80+ hours a week which in the Chief of Surgery job, that's what would be required of Derek. For alot of surgeons they do have to go through this decision-making at some point IF they even ever get the chance to become or be considered for this position.. Most surgeons actually never get this opportunity in their careers, so most surgeons would never actually have to make this decision, but for those that do.. I can definitely imagine it being an extremely difficult decision, because if they pass on the opportunity, they may never get another opportunity to be the Chief of Surgery at a good hospital ever again in their careers, but if they take that job position, that job becomes a priority over a bunch of things in their life due to the fact that decisions that are made by the Chief could and usually involve people's lives.
