oh baaaaaby, I told you to fasten your seatbelts for The Dutchess storyline cause it's a wild one...not only is she sleeping with a teenager, paying him to keep doing it, blackmailing Vanessa to stop dating him and being friends with him, SHE'S ALSO SLEEPING WITH HER STEP-SON... Blair kinda irked me in this episode with all the Amanda ish and plotting, but also seeing how easy was to get Serena to go back to her mean girl ways was so disappointing. But finding out that it was all Chuck's ploy just to have Serena overtake the queen position to throw Blair off and make her doubt herself and be vulnerable just so he could try and swoop in to hook up with her... She did have a point about how seeing Dan ask someone out on their first day back at school is shitty on his side, because y'all literally broke up recently and you said you still loved her. "the minions" doing that to Amanda was so fucked up and seeing people around them making fun of her instead of judging those two for what they did was so insane to me. Dan and Serena have this issue about them just imagining the worst of each other as soon as they break-up, like did y'all even like each other in the first place?? And they always realize it after like ten minutes later and then it takes them forever to talk it out. Jenny saying "i'm talking about you and Hannah Montana" is a joke on so many levels, cause Taylor Momsen/Jenny was in the running to play Hannah Montana! Speaking of Jenny, her hair does look so cute this season. Rufus made several points by telling Lily that she made her choice to marry Bart and he can't be her safety net, cause that's exactly how she treats him and their relationship. Vanessa irked me how she saw them sitting at the table and immediately just thought she was backing out, and by telling everyone she ruined Nate's chance at a freedom

it's so ridiculously irrational because I know vanessa and dan are morally right but... this is when they truly both start to irk me, or at least a moment that shows why, because get with the program of the rich and elite and let them do their thing, you guys know how it works at this point. vanessa meddling and messing up blair the ultimate schemer, and dan blaming serena for being passive in a blair scheme when he's seen firsthand what blair and those girls are like?? like i'm here for confident queen serena getting over her pain, you go boo.
