You were HEATED this episode! 😂 you will understand a whole lot more as you watch this series. Again I think your reaction was pretty much EVERYONE

diana (world of tinashe)

omg not the "pick me, choose me, love me" jumpscare at the start with no trigger warning, Shonda you're wrong for that one but Meredith should absolutely be haunted by those words. I am so glad that Callie decided to say that Izzy has been sleeping with George in front of all of her friends cause they should all know and be shaming her now let's keep the same energy with George too!! But Izzy has no right to act prissy about Callie telling everyone, girlie if it was me I'd be on local radios and news stations blasting YOU BOTH cuz what do you mean "we're waiting out of respect towards Callie's feelings"....DEATH! so happy Christina got up and left the table, cause that's exactly what both of them deserve. And Dr. Hanh thinking she has any right to judge Christina when she doesn't know her + deciding to slutshame when she's an incredible surgeon and ofc Izzy's ass had to be there and see it...almost seemed like the was gloating about it so ma'am you don't deserve ANY grace from Christina and like you said Meredith had no idea Derek was married and Christina was dating Burke so now ZIP IT IZZY cause you're pissing me off Derek was so nasty with the prank on Mark and the kid, like you saw Mark's whole life flash in front of his eyes and his face turn 10x whiter but I'm so happy that Meredith decided to try and help him with guilt-tripping everyone into helping. you're so right about "Ava" and Alex, like ma'am you're still married, left your daughter and husband again to come and sleep with this guy you have a crush on...I need better for Alex! Bailey I love you DOWN but George and Izzy are absolutely the bad guys + it is black and white, your situation of missing your baby's first halloween does not compare to George CHEATING on his wife. which in my opinion is absolutely unforgivable

Eyyy friend it's so bad but in reality cheating is not seen as such a bad thing anymore, I think it's because it happens so often.... People would just judge the fact that you got caught rather than the action itself. It's actually so sad.

I've said this before, but I really freaking love that we are getting these reactions. Its so rare to find someone to watch Grey's these days, I LOVE getting to experience someone else's first time watching the shit show drama lol

The audacity of Izzie just knows no limits. Holding off on your relationship in respect for Callie?! Are you kidding me with that shit?! Izzie has been a total bitch to Callie from the day they first met, and now she wants to show Callie respect after sleeping with her husband? If she don't get the fuck outta here with that bullshit!

I get why you don't understand where Bailey is coming from regarding George, but she cannot be as "unforgiving" as us, the audience. George literally saved Bailey and her baby, when she was about to give birth. He was there for her at the most terrifying moment of her life. So much so, that she named her son after George. She can't now just not be there for him, even if she finds his behavior despicable. That's not who Miranda Bailey is. We don't turn our backs on people that helped us through shit. We tell them the truth, but still meet them with the same kindness they extended to us. Now.... this is my first comment, since I started binging with you this show, coming straight from Youtube 😅 I may not agree with many of your takes, but I'm still absolutely LOVING these reactions, and watch till the very end, including your thoughts. It's okay to disagree, and it just makes for a much more interesting watch. So thank you so so much for this! And I really really hope we make it at least till season 10 or 11. I remember loving the show at least until then, but it has been such a long time omg.. 😂 It's such a nostalgic journey going back to it, but it's even better feeling like we are in good company while watching 😊 really appreciate your channel!

And also, Katherine Heighl is such a good actress, and she knew her worth. She was so unsatisfied with the direction her character was going, she straight out refused award nominations for this season, claiming that the writing didn't give her enough character growth to deserve an award. That statement got her eventually fired from Grey's Anatomy, alledgedly for being "difficult to work with". And that rumor spread in the industry, and really damaged her career. But honestly, the more time passes, the more it's really clear that Katherine was absolutely right about Izzie's writing and I absolutely understand why she put her foot down in critiquing that writers room. She was one of the leading actresses in the romantic comedy genre, was really popular and talented, and Grey's was wasting her potential, while riding on her name, popularity and brand value when award seasons arrived. It was disgusting.

We can definitely agree to disagree! I think that the fact that George saved Bailey and her baby explains her emotional attachment to him but it doesn’t justify minimizing his actions or reframing them in a way that removes accountability. Yes, George showed up for Bailey in one of the most terrifying moments of her life, and that matters. But being someone’s hero in one moment doesn’t permanently offset harming someone else in another. Gratitude can coexist with holding someone fully responsible for their choices. Otherwise, kindness becomes transactional - you helped me once, so I must excuse you forever. Bailey isn’t required to “turn her back” on George in order to be honest. She can care about him and still say, plainly, that not only is cheating wrong but that responsibility doesn’t get split evenly just because a marriage was already struggling. Saying it takes two shifts focus away from the person who actually broke their vows, Callie didn’t tango. Offering grace is a choice, not a moral obligation, especially when that grace comes at the expense of clarity and fairness to the person who was betrayed. To me, Bailey’s response reads less like moral complexity and more like personal bias shaped by trauma and gratitude. That’s human, but it’s still bias. Bailey being compassionate doesn’t automatically make her right. And acknowledging George’s humanity shouldn’t require softening the truth about what he did. She did acknowledge that it wasn't ok which I appreciated, but following it up by insinuating Callie played a hand in his betrayal was absurd to me. Re: your note...that honestly means so much to me 🥹💗 thank you for taking the time to share this, especially as your first comment! I genuinely love that we can disagree and still enjoy the conversations. That’s actually one of my favorite parts of doing reactions. Different takes, different lenses, but watching together and unpacking it all in real time. That’s exactly the kind of space I hope this channel is. And YES to the nostalgia 😭 watching Grey’s with people who remember loving it is such a comfort. Fingers crossed we make it to season 10 or 11 together. I’m in it for the long haul as long as y’all are 😅 Thank you so much for being here, for watching all the way through, and for the kindness. Truly appreciate you 🫶🏾

You make really good points here, but I truly think it's way easier for us the audience to judge the situations and characters, then it would be realistically for the characters. I think that good writing in these types of Dramas definitely require some degree of realism, and the truth is, we as humans are not able to be righteous all the time. We all do f up and make mistakes at some points of our lives. We misjudge.. we do have biases.. even you tend to be more forgiving of Addison's cheating, because you like her.. ;) what I mean is, that's okay. It's okay sometimes to be biased, because it's human. I guess, we just had here a very human moment from Bailey who, despite being the badass that she is and not afraid to call out bs when she sees it, also has her moments of very human mistakes and conflicting feelings. And to me, that's kind of refreshing to see. Characters who are allowed to have flaws.. because in real life, that's pretty much true for everyone. I can imagine how difficult it must have been to write this show. It's a pitty they messed up George and Izzie's characters.. Both had actually great potential for some amazing character growth, like Alex got. Thank you so so so much for the heartfelt reply! I am really happy to be here 💚

@43:40. Yeah Izzy is an a—hole through this entire story. However: I think she’s referencing when Meredith had sex with Derek at the prom, knowing he was married and no longer separated, and obviously Cristina at the time did not judge or condemn that.
