She does but I think it’s natural to want to hold on to your marriage as much as we’d expect and want someone like her to just drop him and leave. I don’t think it makes her weaker or less impressive as a person🥲 I think it makes her a more real character

I was dying watching there wondering when you were gonna realize there was just one baby 😂 As one of Owen’s #1 haters and hating this storyline every rewatch- I remember watching this episode and having an epiphany, realizing how sadly real this is. A brilliant woman falling in love with a toxic man and losing herself in the process. It was when I saw her desperately digging through his pockets, such a pathetic scene for a powerhouse of a woman but how often have so many incredible women reduced themselves because they were in love with some toxic dusty man? I think that’s what makes it so hard to watch. It’s impossible to not love Christina and impossible to not hate Owen. We’ve all had that one friend who we just want to shake the shit out of because we can’t understand why they are so distraught over some loser but they can’t ever see it until they’re far enough away for a different perspective. Having said that, I hope Owen is killed by a swarm of killer bees but it’s while he’s stuck in an elevator and he only has enough antidote to slow the process of death so he suffers longer. I mean, it’s Grey’s Anatomy, crazier deaths have happened.
