So yes, I've decided that I want Elves in my sketchbook, not phone boxes. XD I spent nearly all day at school yesterday, so I couldn't work on "Betrayal", but I went mad with my sketchbook, mini palette and water brush!

Don't really like Fingon here, but the little Maglor sketch turned out fine.

So beautiful! I love them so much;v;

Damako

For some reason I really love when you paint Maglor from behind 😍

I'm not an artsy person, so I have to ask, what sort of pen is that in the photos?

Ninchen

Elves over phone boxes anytime! I love your sketches, please keep posting them.

It's a water brush - made of plastic, you can screw it open to fill in water, then squeeze bits of it out to paint with. That way, you can paint with watercolours without the need for a water container. One filling goes really far, too.

I have nothing against phone boxes but your sketches of elves are lovely. And any Maedhros by you is a make-my-day Maedhros. 💕

Oh they are all beautiful😍! But I am a big fan of redheads so I like the two above a bit more.😅 What kind of mini palette do you use? Is it this little round palette? Is it porcelain? It looks so cute and handy.😃

It's called a mini pal-ette, manufactured by Stephanie Law! She had a kickstarter with them last year, and I got myself one. They're being picked up by Etchr now, I highly recommend them - if you use tiny brushes, like me!

I love these and the dynamic, quickly sketched quality they have!
