Nate lifts a brow. "It's…not something I've thought on much. But I do admit, [Name] becoming something other than human is an idea that has captured me more lately." He chews at his bottom lip, as though wishing he could take those words back. "There is so much danger in what we do usually. But [Name]'s life is in constant threat because of their mutation. Perhaps the transformation might neutralise it. [Name] may become a vampire, but they would then have more chance at a 'normal' life."

He sinks into the seat, frowning as he's lost to his own thoughts.

What he says does make sense…except you realise after a while that he never actually answered your question.
