Question: 'Felix/Farah, do you feel like being a Natural-Born vampire sets you apart from the rest at all? Or are there things/experiences they don't get?'
-
FARAH
Farah shrugs, splaying her limbs across the armchair. "It doesn't feel much different, from what the others have told me about their experiences as vampires. But they don't get the thrall thing 'cause they can't do it."
She runs her tongue across her teeth before leaning forwards with a sigh. "I mean, I don't go around biting people in this world all the time. It's a major no-no here. That was a big difference in this world to the Echo World." She lifts up her hands, stopping the tangent before it begins. "But on the couple of times I've needed to, I always get freaked out they'll become a thrall."
"Supernaturals have a higher tolerance to the serum, so it's not something I ever needed to worry about happening in the Echo World," she admits. "But here…humans are seriously vulnerable to it. And I'd never do it on purpose, but it's never something I've ever really learned to control—not releasing the serum with a bite, I mean. So it's always in the back of my mind."
She shudders before clearing her throat and pushing a grin onto her lips. "That was a bit of a ramble, wasn't it?"
