It's the same generic five points as the last. They've changed up their style to just a checkbox. It doesn't say that my stories read like AI, or why they lack maturity, or how Soul's Requiem is too draggy. It picks up right from the start? Is Grammarly now suspected AI usage? I don't know with these responses. Well, time to work on the next one.

Maybe they have flacked you, so they don't really check it anymore. Can you ask them to specify?

I'm in contact with one of the mods right now on Discord after getting stonewalled by a lot of in-betweens. This is what they said right now: I just checked, and not every rejection is related to AI. Most of the time, it's because of issues like pacing, plot, or commercialization (marketability). Sometimes there are also concerns about character development, story structure, or whether the book has strong commercial appeal for WebNovel readers.

Sounds for me like marketing bullshit. My guess, you where either flagged for some reason they don’t want to disclose, because that could land them in hot water or some AI/Algorythm sorts you out on some checkmarks they don’t want to disclose. It’s shady that they don’t give something concrete.

SME

Yeah. I think it's sort of off, as well. Regardless, I suppose it is helping me examine my work and pushing me to refine my technique.

I havent been reading/following along with the new works but it feels like ive seen you post a lot of chapters and a LOT of rejections in a pretty short period. I'm not sure what the word count has been, but I think itd be fair to say you're a pretty significant outlier in terms of productivity, and I wonder if they may have flagged you as AI/spammy/low effort as a result (even though it def doesnt appear to be the case to me). I also imagine that having so may partially completed works may decrease belief that you'll stick with a specific project if they accept it.

SME

That could be true but a contract would be legally binding for me to complete it so they could take me to court if I didn’t produce what promised. I’m trying. My mom comes come today from the hospital. I’m helping to get things ready for her. I just need to get one contracted. It’s something new I haven’t done yet. I’ve never had someone else promote my work and see how that works.

Mathrian

I totally understand and I really hope they pick up one of your stories soon. I think they're more than good enough for a contract ❤️ I hope everything goes well with your mom.

Kinda funny how they blame u for using AI (if you do I’m fine with it. If you don’t then that’s fine with me too) but they use dogshit 4 year old 4B models to analyse ur work. One would image they would at least pull out the 1,4T models with reasoning on xhigh/max/ultra to give a fair analyse that feeds their fucking wallets.

SME

I only use ai to track the plots and keep logs or a bible of the work. With how much I write I used to have to make compendiums and log everything myself that took forever. Ai made it easy to track resources, keep track of characters, and organize everything which used to take so much of my time. Not for ideas or writing itself because they suck at actual storytelling.

well the people that keep on rejecting you suck the stories you write all start good I don't know what they're looking for but the way you write is awesome keep at it
