Wash: So... two days in a hospital. That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors?

Simon: Hey.

Wash: I mean, present company excluded.

Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

So, was your camera planned to go out and back in focus when you mentioned the X-Files? Nice touch. 😂😂 In the junkyard scene, the piece that Wash throws and hits the ship they rebuild is a/the catalyzer they needed in the last episode. The “ambulance” physical design is based off an old Russian helicopter design called the Hind (Mil Mi-24), aka the “flying tank”. Still in use around the world.

Yes, that was the plan the whole time! 😂 Ah ha! We didn't catch that the part he threw was a catalyzer. very nice!

Nice catch on the Hind! I didn't notice that. I'm not great on things like that anymore. When I was a teen, I loved the MicroProse games because of the thick manual that explained that game. Gunship, Airborne Ranger, F-15 Strike Eagle, Sid Meier's Pirates!, F-19 Stealth Fighter. I loved those manuals! (All on my commodore 64, of course.)

In a season of great episodes, this is my favorite. It's a heist episode. It's got betrayal. It's got the weird blue hands of the Blue Sun company. It indicated that what happened with River was going to be fixed and she would be helping, even if not right away. It had Jayne being stupid and Mal dangling him over a volcano. It had Jayne realize, too late, he cares what others think of him. Most of all, they got a win in the heist. Their luck was better. Admittedly, I got so into this, I will have to watch again to watch your reactions! btw, I keep meaning to say that I love the decorations on the shelves, especially the X-Files poster! Big fan of that. Did you watch that back in the day? Or is that on the list to watch? Thanks for posting! Take care!
