Nice little puppies!!, the names you two put on your dogs I would have never guessed. Very unique names of your two dogs. I don’t have any pets myself but would like to have one.

Totally Whatever

Barnaby is named after my favorite pizza place in Illinois! We adopted him when he was tiny, and his name was Barney. But that reminded me too much of the purple dinosaur, so we changed it to Barnaby.

I had a rat terrier named Mrs. Barnaby and I have an aunt Carolyn so this video was weird for me :D

Totally Whatever

Mrs. Barnaby!! Love that. And you have an aunt Carolyn.... what a coincidence.

What cuties:) We have a Chihuahua named Ellie. Dogs are the best! What are your favourite Dog movies?

Totally Whatever

Ellie the Chihuahua, how cute! Favourite dog movies? That's hard - the first ones that come to mind are All Dogs Go to Heaven, Lady & the Tramp, and 101 Dalmatians.

those are some good animated movies. I will add Fox and the Hound(Kurt Russell is the voice of Copper) to the animated category. Live action I love Benji(there a bunch of them), Turner and Hooch(starring Tom Hanks) and Homeward Bound.

Totally Whatever

We haven't seen Benji or Turner and Hooch. Those would be good to add to the list.

As a newer member, I'm finally catching up on these Totally Extra features... and totally loving them! I *love* dogs, and my family always had at least one. Unfortunately, my wife is a cat person, and I'm highly allergic, so our family had no pets for a long time. 😢 When our son was about ten, we were gifted an elderly guinea pig by some church friends, and it turned out to be the best thing to help him cope with the emotional struggles of that age! So we've had one, two, or occasionally three guinea pigs ever since, housed in a beautiful two-story structure entitled the Piggy Palace! 😁 But my best pet story comes from my childhood. My fourth grade class was learning about the scientific method by building cardboard mazes and timing our classroom pet rats. Someone needed to take care of the rats over Christmas break, so I volunteered... without asking my parents! When Mom picked me up after school on the last day before break, she was chagrined to see me carrying a cage with three little rodents! Although she was initially quite displeased, those little squeakers proved to be fantastic pets, and they quickly won everyone's hearts! I have a picture of a rat sitting on my knee, nose-to-nose with one of our dogs as they checked each other out. We were all sad when I had to take them back to school in January. 😭 About three weeks later, the female gave birth to a new litter! I guess the squeaking I had been hearing at night wasn't just the exercise wheel turning... 💓

Totally Whatever

I've always wanted a guinea pig, they seem like wonderful pets. It's interesting that you mentioned rats. I have a good friend who just got the sweetest pet rat!

We had a Barnaby's on the South Side too!... actually in the suburb of Calumet City. We all loved that place. Sadly it closed in the late 80s. I ate at one near the Allstate Arena once, and another one in South Bend, IN. I think they're all gone now. I drove past the one a few years ago (it may have been the same one near Allstate), but it was recently post-covid, so of course it was closed. Not sure if it was permanent. Barnaby actually made me think of a crime drama called Barnaby Jones which starred Buddy Ebsen (Uncle Jed from The Beverly Hillbillies) ....who also had white hair!! 🤣🤣 When one of my nieces was little, she had some kind of lizard...a gecko, I think- and she named it "Mr. Jumpers". 😀

Adorable pups! We have a Golden Doodle 10 month pup who is already 80lbs named Dante (from”Coco” )and a cat named Alice (from “Alice in Wonderland”,) both of them think they are the Apex predators in San Diego county. Cheers, Bill

I don’t think anyone ever really liked that Purple Dinosaur…. Barnaby sounds distinguished and dignified, good name, I hope the pizza is good too.

Your doggies are adorable, I have a black lab/greyhound cross called Gunny - he’s an adorable, kind dog who loves his cat brothers/sisters x
