Bill Murray is just incredible. I highly recommend his movie Groundhog Day. It’s hilarious and heartwarming.

Harvey Lee

Great modern version of a Christmas Carol ,yes it's that special time of year , coming up real soon that time to be a little kinder ,offer some more Cheer and do a good deed along the way , I 've always enjoyed this movie Looking forward to it N+C ♥️♥️😄👻🌲

Wade Wallenstein

I knew you would enjoy this! Been watching it since the 90s so I know it by heart. Bill Murray's speech at the end always gets me emotional because it's always been true. The adult jokes go over your head as a child like the bit with the Dancer but really make you laugh as an adult lol.

Phil Stubblefield

I think that Groundhog Day is Bill Murray's best movie by a long shot! 👍🏻👍🏻

Totally Whatever

I've seen Groundhog Day, but I'm not sure if Carolyn has yet.

This is going to be a new holiday tradition - with It's a Wonderful Life, of course.

Bill Elliott

Have to say, a Christmas Carol is my favorite Christmas story, while there are many good versions of different characters, Carol Kane’s high energy and face-slapping Ghost of Christmas Present is my favorite. “It’s Mr Hedgehog!!!”… smack. 😂

I haven’t seen this movie in years. I completely forgot the opening. Lee Majors, who was carrying the same huge minigun prop as Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Predator,” also starred in the show The Fall Guy which was recently made into a new movie. You guys should watch on your own. The late Mary Ellen Trainor is the female executive at the boardroom meeting and is also in a Die Hard as a TV reporter and the police psychologist in the Lethal Weapon movies. I really wanted to see the Mary Lou Retton Tiny Tim Scrooge movie! Eliot, the guy with the bow tie and glasses that Frank fired is played by Bobcat Goldthwait, a comedian. Cross talks about Nielsen ratings, we were a Nielsen household for a few years from 2022 to 2025. Every time we turn the TV on, we had to press a button on a remote control linked to a tracking device (called the People Meter) on the TV, the number corresponds to the name of the person watching the show. We were also in a program for Nielsen that tracks what we listen to on the radio we wear a little device with a lanyard around the neck or on a belt clip. Paul Schaffer, one of the street musicians, was the house band leader on “Late Night with David Letterman.” Another one of the street musicians is the late David Sanborn, a saxophonist who played with Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and The Rolling Stones. Buster Poindexter, whose real name was David Johansen, plays the ghost of Christmas Past Cabbie. He was a musician in real life. Bryan Doyle-Murray, Bill Murray’s brother plays Earl Cross, Frank’s father in 1955. The mailman on the kids show is played by Roy Brocksmith who was in Total Recall as “Dr. Edgemar” who worked for the “Rekall” company. One of the people working in the TV station for the live show is the real director of the movie, Richard Donner. Grace‘s family home has a free South Africa poster (referring to the Apartheid policy at the time in that country) in it, which was one of the Anti-Apartheid references the director would put in several of his movies. There’s also a Free Africa sticker in the tv station control room. John Murray plays Frank’s brother in the present day and is Bill Murray’s real younger brother. Joel Murray is another brother of Bill Murray’s and is seen as a party guest. Great reaction!

Should we start a petition for a Mary Lou Retton Tiny Tim Scrooge movie?! lol Thanks for all the extra trivia, btw. You are the best.
